**Job Overview:**
APTIM is seeking an experienced Work Planner with DOE/Nuclear and Radiological Controls experience to support nuclear Decommissioning and Dismantlement field operations.
Must have knowledge of work planning procedures for nuclear facilities. The person should have work planning experience, preferably in a DOE nuclear facility environment and familiar with Integrated Safety Management.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**
+ Plan and schedule decommissioning work activities for the project.
+ The Work Planner is responsible for planning all aspects of the job to ensure job specifications are correct, tradesman are available, necessary materials are available, and determine most efficient way to successfully produce the job according to the budget, schedule, and requirements.
+ Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area.
+ Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, structural and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Computer literate and must be able to work within various computer systems, intermediate MS office skills are required (Word & Excel).
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Able to work in a fast pace environment/ understands sense of urgency.
+ Attention to detail and time management.
+ Work well independently and within a team.

+ Must have high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelors' degree in engineering, construction management, or physical sciences is preferred
+ 10 years performing high risk work in a highly regulated environment
+ 5 years nuclear or industrial experience desired, preferably at a DOE nuclear site
+ Must have excellent safety performance and judgement
+ Strong communication and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) required
+ Radiological Worker and HazwopeR training desired

The Designer's primary responsibility is to create footwear that is innovative, trend relevant, and to continue to evolve iconic classic styles that meet the needs of the Ariat consumers. This is an in-house position, based out of our Ariat headquarters in San Leandro, CA.
You'll Make a Difference By
- Working closely with fellow team members in product management, color and trend forecasting, design, and footwear development in the planning, creating, and developing of technical footwear lines.
- Consistently deliver innovative and appropriate design solutions under tight deadlines.
- Participating in seasonal presentations with strong verbal and visual skills. Prepare highly visual and thought-provoking trend/inspiration presentations each season that highlights design inspiration, shows collaboration with other categories as well communicate how those trends are interpreted.
- Taking hand drawings to presentation ready renderings efficiently using Procreate and or Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Innovating in the 'finishing' level of design by creating 'firsts' in areas of pattern detail, construction, branding, molding, etc.
- Supporting brand directives through specific product design offerings.
- Traveling domestically and internationally when needed.
- Showing a command of all footwear skillsets, lead by example and be willing to share that knowledge though a can do/ team player attitude.
- Collaborating with all footwear categories as well as apparel teams to help create cohesive product lines.
- Supporting Design Director and Design VP for all aspects of design for Ariat Men's/Women's work and Outdoor footwear
- Helping create footwear tech packs for relay product information to the development team and factories.
- Helping create image/trend boards for forward thinking product often designed 2 years ahead of the market.
- Supporting the design team in all aspects of design for both men's and women's. Includes creating cads, renderings, image trend and material boards.
- Working with the materials team to identify materials needs and support the team in creating material board with multiple options going into merchandising.
- Come up with original artwork and concepts while also supporting the team with additional work that supports the entire line.
- Attending and researching outdoor and work footwear though the web, tradeshows, market travel etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2-5 years Work footwear knowledge or other technical footwear background.
- Become an integral team member that collaborates, takes direction, adds insight, and helps manage the workload.
- Strong proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Technical footwear training/work required.
- 3D footwear rendering skillset preferred.
- Outdoor and/or Work footwear experience preferred.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
