Job Summary
Purpose of Position:
FWS students will be welcoming students into the New Student Assessment Center. This includes checking students into their appointment via RegisterBlast, walking students through directions on how to complete a variety of placement tests in several testing platforms, proctoring students within the assessment lab, providing students next steps after placement is complete, making reminder/reschedule phone calls to registered students, and entering any data into our systems. Additionally, this position will be helping provide campus tours within the AWE space and providing expertise on student panels at events.
This position is only open to students with Federal Work Study eligibility.
Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide a welcoming and friendly environment with high quality customer service for students, staff, faculty, and community members. Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.
2. Obtains and maintains vendor proctor/administrator certificates and recertifies as required.
3. Administers placement and other assessments for new and current students utilizing professional proctoring procedures to support a secure and appropriate testing environment.
4. Complete all required testing protocols and procedures such as, but not limited to, consistent verification of ID, verification of student electronic records, verification of instructions, and close proctoring of all students using physical observations, video monitoring, and electronic monitoring software.
5. Assists in troubleshooting basic technology problems affecting assessment administration. Resolves technology problems, troubleshoots computer problems, and contacts vendor technical support when needed.
6. Writes necessary incident reports and obtains proper signatures as required.
7. Assist with basic clerical work, data entry, and other academic support projects as directed.
8. Maintains confidentiality of exams, test results, and candidate information in accordance to Higher Education FERPA, NCTA, and other regional and national testing standards, vendors' standards, policies, and guidelines.
9. Provide student leadership in the form of campus tours, student panels, etc.
10. Conduct phone calls for students as reminders for appointments/rescheduling no show.
11. Performs other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of: Basic computer navigation and use.
Skill in: Microsoft office suite, including advanced skill in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to: Speak clearly and concise to provide directions for incoming students. Maintain strict confidentiality.
Minimum/General Qualifications:
This position requires applicants to have Federal Work Study as part of their current Financial Aid package with Columbus State. You must also be enrolled in SIX or more credit hours in a degree or certificate program. The position prepares patient for testing (including thorough screening questioning), assists the radiologist during testing, operates the MRI equipment for a variety of procedures, maintains supply inventory in assigned rooms, and covers call duty, as assigned.

Operates MRI equipment, including the magnet, injectors, independent consoles, physiological patient monitors, and cardiac gating/monitoring equipment.
Uses equipment to properly adjust pulse sequences according to body part and diagnosis.

Performs daily safety and quality control checks for the system.
Sends images to PACS for interpretation.
Transfers images to independent console for further manipulation.
Reformats and performs post processing of images for radiologist interpretation.
Administers MRI contrast agents.

We are currently in search of New Business Sales Representatives to help secure new opportunities and grow the Book Fair business. These full-time positions offer medical, dental and vision benefits, a Paid Time Off program that includes vacation, personal and sick time, a generous 50% off discount on Scholastic merchandise, 401k with a company match, and the possibility of summers off.
In additions to the base rate, Scholastic offers a Sales Compensation program which includes the opportunity to earn annual incentives. This Net Revenue Bonus enables participants to earn 1.5% of all Net Revenue booked from their assigned prospects. Earned bonuses are paid annually and do not have a maximum earnings cap.

**PRIMARY OBJECTIVES**
**Prospecting:** Research and identify potential school and district partners. Initiate outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to decision-makers such as Principals, PTS Leaders and School Administrators.
**Lead Qualifications:** Qualify prospects by understanding their needs, timelines, and interests in hosting Book Fairs. Set up appointments and pass along qualified leads to Account Managers.
**Relationship Building:** Establish rapport with educators and administrators, emphasizing the value of Scholastic Reading Events in promoting literacy and supporting school communities.
**Pipeline Management:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions in the CRM system. Track progress toward monthly and quarterly goals.
**Collaboration and Strategy:** Work closely with the sales team to align outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency. Continuously learning and refining sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry insights, including staying informed about industry trends, customer preferences and emerging opportunities to enhance effectiveness and achieve targets.

Market and Event Management
+ Achieve goals by booking events from the seasonal prospecting list within assigned territory. Identify alternative opportunities through Grants, Title 1, Non-Profit, Foundation and Corporate channels where targeted.

+ Coordinate high level revenue-building activities of Book Fairs with appropriate event partner for follow up.

**Qualifications**
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, personal selling, and customer service with noted leadership ability and qualities demonstrated.
+ Proficiency with MS Office software; experience with Sales Automation, Customer Relationship Management or Web-based software programs.
+ Familiarization with children's literature, Book Fairs, and school activities desired.
+ Ability to execute a vision, manage multiple priorities, and achieve results.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills, including oral presentation skills.
