Our esteemed client represents one of the most accomplished and highly regarded health systems across the United States.
The Medical Dosimetrist provides care to patients, ages adolescent through geriatric, receiving radiation therapy treatments. The Medical Dosimetrist is a member of the Radiation Therapy Planning Team, familiar with the physical and geometric characteristics of radiation equipment and radioactive sources commonly used, with the training and expertise necessary to measure and generate radiation dose distributions and calculations under the directions of Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist. Functionally, this position reports to and is accountable to the Medical Physicist.
Requirements/Certifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is mandatory for submission.
- Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of signing is essential.
- Possession of a valid State License is required at the time of submission.
- Certification as a Medical Dosimetrist is necessary, with prior experience in ARIA/eclipse.
- All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) and must be current at the time of submission.
- Proficiency in specific charting is required, with a preference for experience in Epic.
