We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **CCTV & Access Control Design Engineer** to join our team and lead the development of complex, integrated electronic security designs. This is a full-time, on-site role, with occasional field visits and travel required to support project execution.

Position Overview:
- Technical Lead - Data Center & Quality Control Design who can bridge the gap between engineering intent and real-world execution.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead technical authority for data center build design reviews from concept to final implementation.
- Participate in engineering calls to understand design requirements and proactively identify missing or incorrect elements.
- Verify that all physical and electrical components (e.g., cable management, grounding, rack alignment) are properly specified and documented.
- Apply deep technical knowledge to ensure compliance with grounding standards (e.g., ensuring metal-to-metal contact where required).
- Review, validate, and adjust BOMs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and practicality making modifications when parts are missing, better alternatives exist, or supply constraints require changes.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to resolve design or component issues before deployment.
- Oversee rack build quality, ensuring designs are executed as planned and meet technical specifications.
- Document and communicate design changes, quality issues, and corrective actions clearly to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide team members on technical best practices in data center design and quality control.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data center infrastructure, rack building, and quality control.
- Strong engineering background with the ability to understand, critique, and improve detailed technical designs.
- Expert-level knowledge of data center physical infrastructure, including grounding, cable management, and rack layout standards.

The Client Organization Control Design Assessment Team is responsible for assessing the adequacy of Control and Testing design that are executed by the Client businesses.
This position will report to the Client Control Design Assessment Team Lead. It is an execution-oriented position that is responsible for control/testing design assessment and assurance for Client controls, and includes the execution of control design assessment processes, results reporting, and insight sharing related to the above scope of control design assessment activities. Coverage may vary from time to time to meet internal and external deliverables across the Client Controls team.
The Client Organization- Control Design Assessment Officer will be part of a team of control design assessment professionals who will be responsible for executing the above responsibilities, with breadth and depth on control design assessment planning and execution. Accountable for control/testing design results and advice regarding control design and remediation. As part of this, the role requires the identification of control/testing design matters for escalation to senior management, inputs to process enhancements, technical strategy, and work plans. The position closely follows the latest trends in control design and assurance and requires strong knowledge of appropriate and effective control design and adapts them for application within their own job and covered businesses.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly with respect to providing feedback on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and any remedial actions required as part of controls assessments. The role will require engagement with senior managers at SVP and Director level.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Executes control design assessments, monitoring design assessments and testing design assessments for controls operated by the Client business in line with the applicable Policies, Procedures and Standards.
+ Handles exception communications by confirming proposed outliers and reviewing them with control owners and in-business risk and control team members from the covered business/function.
+ Develops control design assessment tools and associated procedures in line with the applicable Policies, Procedures and Standards.
+ Helps driving continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of RCSA/MCA control design assessment and controls testing.
+ Supports the adoption of the new RCSA/MCA Standards and Procedures and the build out of the client control design assessment capability.

+ Supports training of assessment officers on processes, systems, and execution of control design assessment activities, which may include cross-training onshore and offshore staff across the Client Control Assessment & Testing Team.

**Job Summary**

Dominion Energy Virginia's Electric Transmission-Substation Engineering department is seeking a motivated, engaged engineer to fill a vacancy within the Protection and Control Design team. Substation Engineering - Protection and Control Design is the organization responsible for the creation and maintenance of substation electrical, mechanical, and control drawings, performing detailed design of the high voltage electric grid system operated from 11kV to 500kV.
**Primary Responsibilities:** Develop Protection and Control Design engineering packages for Dominion's Electric Transmission and Electric Distribution Substations.
+ Create and modify protection and control design documents and drawings for substation projects including relay functional drawings, logic diagrams, elementary diagrams, wiring diagrams, communications diagrams, relay panel arrangement drawings, and bills of material.
+ Coordinate with and provide technical assistance to Physical Substation Engineers, Protective Relay Settings Engineers, Communications Engineers, Transmission Line Engineers, Material Coordinators, Panel Wiring Shop, and Field Technicians to fully develop the protection and control design package.
+ Assist project management teams and conceptual engineering teams for the development of the scope of work and design requirements for substation engineering projects.
+ Independently develop system protection design package for complex projects using applicable standards.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience**
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry include the following:
+ Experience with Electric Utility preferred.
+ Understanding of the principles and practices for transmission lines, distribution feeders, and major substation components.
+ Experience with electromechanical and microprocessor-based protection and control systems preferred
+ Ability to read, interpret, and verify accuracy of one-line diagrams, relay functional drawings, elementary, logic and wiring diagrams preferred
+ Experience with MicroStation and / or AutoCAD
+ Competency in applying engineering principles, fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures requiring some evaluation, originality and/or ingenuity to achieve project objectives
+ Ability to interpret codes, regulations, standards and practices
+ Planning, organizational and project management skills
+ Ability to process information quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks
+ Effective decision-making skills
+ Effective oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing)
+ Equally effective working independently or in a team environment

**Basic Qualifications**

**Role Description**
The Business Control Office (BCO) has the responsibility to ensure the implementation of consistent risk control frameworks and establishment of efficient risk controls across SMBC Group AD. + Develop Control Monitoring/ Testing routines with detailed documentation, walkthroughs, analysis and evaluation of the current processes
