Entergy's Power Generation group operates a fleet of more than 30 owned, leased, or operated natural gas, coal, oil hydro and petroleum coke plants, with total engineering capacity of over 18,500 megawatts and is building or acquiring more than 3,000 megawatts of new natural gas generation to join its 30,000 megawatts of nuclear, natural gas, coal, oil, hydroelectric and solar facilities.
**Job Summary/Purpose:**
Serves as the lead person on shift in the operation and maintenance of the systems associated with a fossil fuel fired power generation facility while demonstrating safety awareness, environmental, and regulatory compliance and direction that will continuously improve performance by employees and contractors through the use and strict adherence to procedures and processes. Serve as a contract manager over scheduled work which will include managing the associated budgets. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Champion over assigned applications or processes such as Risk Management Assessments, PCI/Epower, Simulator Training, etc.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Serves as the lead on shift and provides work direction to others on shift.
+ Ensures assigned work within the plant results in safe and reliable operation.
+ Facilitates and coordinates Shift Safety meetings / Job Briefings for all personnel on the same shift.
+ Promotes and ensures a safe work environment, including use of Human Performance tools.
+ Mentors and provides training to develop other employees in the operations training progression plan.
+ Responsible for Contractor Safety on their shift and conducts Contractor Safety Orientations as needed.
+ Fills in for Team Leaders in their absence.
+ Maintains regulatory compliance and is proactive in avoiding reportable violations and if an event occurs, coordinating with all agencies as appropriate.
+ Performs site safety/environmental audits and acts to mitigate hazards.
+ Makes real time decisions and provides work direction regarding the operation of the equipment in a safe, efficient and reliable manner.
+ Performs startup and shutdown functions of boiler, turbine, generator and associated equipment as required per instructions from the SPO- Energy Management Organization.
+ When un-planned absences occur after hours, ensures adequate shift coverage through contact of other qualified personnel.
+ Upon progression to this level, the employee should have completed all the board operator qualifications and is working as the designated lead control board operator.
+ Operational duties include, but are not limited to operating the control board, periodically making operational rounds, performing PM/PDM activities, managing boiler water chemistry, and CEMS monitoring and calibrations.
+ Lead the effort to develop and review operating procedures and rounds.
+ Applies understanding and knowledge of plant systems, burner controls (where applicable) turbine controls, data acquisition, process controls, regulating devices, personal computers, troubleshooting, etc.
+ Applies skills to perform inspections, calibrations, installations, repairs, diagnostics, testing and troubleshooting of complex instrumentation equipment and regulating devices in a fossil fuel fired power generation facility, alone and as part of a team.
+ May perform mechanical work involved in inspection, repair and installation of instrumentation and electrical equipment, and PM of mechanical systems.
**Minimum Requirements:**
**Minimum education required of the position**
+ 2 Year Associate Degree in Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation/Controls or Production/Process Technology or equivalent work experience.
+ **Desired:**
+ Curriculum including the following: AC / DC Theory; Programmable Logic Controllers - troubleshooting and logic development; process control valve positioners; water chemistry analytical instrumentation; calibration practices and procedures or other similar coursework and/or experience.
**Minimum experience required of the position**
+ Must have completed all current qualifications to be a certified control board operator in the designated plant as well as have 6+years' experience in a CCGT or fossil fuel fired power generation facility in an Operation or Maintenance position or 6+ years of other power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.
+ **Desired:**
+ 10+ years' experience working on drum or supercritical units
+ Previous leadership experience

**Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position**
+ Must be good at communicating, both verbal and written, the results of evaluation of assignments to supervision.
+ Must be comfortable being a change agent with the goal of improving processes and plant performance for the benefit of the plant and company.
+ Ability to interpret and comprehend P&ID's, electrical schematics, network diagrams and OEM manuals.
+ Use of personal computer applications is necessary daily to log equipment data, log time worked and to communicate with various levels of our organization.
+ Strong computer literacy with a preference for skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

**Job Description**
The Control Room Operator will work on-site at a Traffic Management Center (TMC), located in Milwaukee, WI. The environment is a technological hub for traffic operations, which uses a variety of different technologies and tools for the purpose of enhancing safety and mobility.
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Monitoring Wisconsin roadways and providing real-time traveler information for planned and unplanned events impacting traffic and congestion using various Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) tools such as closed-circuit television, changeable message signs, ramp meters, traffic detectors, etc.
+ Real-time assessment of all incoming traffic data and prioritization of content and traffic reporting needs
+ Regular communication with statewide first responders, law enforcement dispatchers, field technicians, and public service agencies to determine the severity of traffic incidents for dissemination to the motoring public
+ Locating, verifying, and monitoring of unplanned incidents, construction, special events and any other issues impacting traffic flow and/or motorist safety
+ Position will be required to become Flex Lane certified and maintain Flex Lane certification. Step in to operate Flex Lane when needed
+ Maintains traffic incident reports for incidents occurring on WI state highways
+ Assesses large volumes of data from a wide variety of sources to detect possible traffic incidents
+ Provides real-time status and situational awareness updates on control room activities such as significant incidents, special events, construction, etc.
+ Responsible for monitoring the functionality of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) devices including CCTV cameras, message boards, detectors, ramp meters, etc. and creating maintenance requests for devices
+ Perform functions similar to an emergency dispatcher within a call center environment dispatching various resources
+ Responsible for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of all information disseminated
+ Attend trainings and staff meetings as requested possibly outside of normal schedule
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent
+ Ability to work on a shift basis at a 24/7/365 operation center that includes weekends, holidays, and coverage outside of regularly scheduled hours - THIS SHIFT IS FROM 10PM - 6AM
+ Position requires candidate to pass a client required Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check
+ US Citizen Required

Position Overview
The Microgrid Control Center Operator will report to the Manager of Control Center. Microgrid Control Center Operator responsibilities will be wide ranging, with an emphasis on the development of the NOC for future expected growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, great attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and make quick decisions under pressure, and deep knowledge of control center operations.
Where You Come In
- Evaluate real time system conditions within different energy markets; run and monitor generation assets to support our customers and the applicable energy grid.
- Utilize proprietary SCADA dashboards, aggregated deployment controls, and visualization tools to control and monitor generation assets throughout the country.
- Coordinate with Enchanted Rock technicians and third parties to complete preventative and corrective maintenance, fueling logistics, and numerous other field related activities.
- Become familiar with contractual obligations.
- Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Enchanted Rock management.

At West Fraser, our operator position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy industrial machinery within our continuous processing line. This role will be responsible for the advisement of their shift supervisor and making necessary adjustments that will directly impact plant performance, efficiency, and quality.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a leader in the mill by driving EHS initiatives through personal ownership and involvement in the mill’s safety culture.
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, report, and eliminate hazards in the workplace.
- Monitor various dashboards, camera, and HMIs to maintain control of processes.
- Make process adjustments as needed for current operating conditions.
- Enter product recipes, execute changeovers, and adhere to schedules, control plans, and SOPs.
- Communicate changeovers with necessary personnel to allow proper sequencing and setup for product.
- Enter data into tracking software with accurate descriptions for line stops, downtime, and efficiency loss for the shift.
- Perform equipment checks to assist personnel with LOTOV process.
- Provide leadership and direction to personnel through assistance with troubleshooting, line stops, and other production or quality issues.
- Interact with other departments to identify and prioritize production, quality, and maintenance needs that impact production.
- Assist team with tasks during outages and plan scheduled downtime.
- Perform regular housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the site leadership team.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two (2) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing, heavy industrial or military environment.
- Experienced in heavy industrial machine controls, manipulation, and monitoring through HMI systems.
- General PC and software knowledge to include Microsoft Office products, camera systems, and HMIs.
- Experience working in continuous process with the understanding of process flow.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment, providing advisement when necessary.
- Willing and able to work twelve (12) hour rotating shifts including holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
- Willing and able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

What you’ll be working on:
The Control Room Operator will use systems such as JDE Oracle, C3 Solutions and scanner guns to effectively and efficiently take care of inbound and outbound needs. The position requires strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as basic computer skills.
- Direct outbound driver to shipping door locations.
- Direct Inbound receiving loads to receiving door locations.
- Loading and unloading.
- Direct all forklift traffic on the dock as it relates to shipping outbound loads and receiving inbound raw materials.
- Direct all yard traffic. Yard driver placing empty trailers in doors for pre-loading.
- Process all shipping paperwork in JD Edwards.
- Maintain all inbound drivers in the PW app computer.
- Communicate with transportation coordinators when shipping issues arise.

As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in the control room while production is operating. Responsibilities include:
- Monitor Operations in the Control Room.

Job Summary:
Streamline Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Control Room Operator for its San Antonio Area Command Center. We are seeking a skilled Control Room operator to take on the responsibility of remotely monitoring, operating, and analyzing our fleet of natural gas sweetening process plants. As a Streamline Control Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our state-of-the-art Valkyrie Assets.
You will be responsible for providing advanced condition monitoring and data analyses of critical plant systems and components, then interfacing with plant personnel and internal subject matter experts to diagnose and develop actions for plant and/or equipment-related problems. CR Operators will have day-to-day responsibilities for monitoring and interpreting the alerts/alarms produced within our Distributive Control System (DCS). You will act as the frontline for the overall unit health by detecting anomalies and providing the proper communication and/or actions to return equipment to typical operating state.
This role will require plant operations throughout a variety of operational scenarios from cold plant start up to emergency operations during plant upsets. This aspect of the position will require excellent troubleshooting, diagnosis, decision-making, and leadership skills. This position will require working experience with the use of Distributive Control System (DCS) or SCADA computers to operate plant equipment and for monitoring of equipment to measure, record, and make adjustments within operating parameters. Additionally, it will also include dispatching remote personnel as needs arise which require site presence. The position will assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide input to plant improvement items to improve plant efficiency, reliability, regulatory compliance, and safety. Candidate should have a good working knowledge of PC computers using Microsoft Office products.
Job Duties:
- Provide constant monitoring of gas sweetening Valkyrie units including real-time data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall unit health
- Maintain process health and operating efficiency of 20-40 variable throughput units through proper operational control
- Supervise and maintain the accuracy of process control variables ensuring levels remain within desired ranges and/or safe limits
- Monitor alarms to ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Respond to alarms promptly through corrective action and/or proper communication to field operators and/or operations management
- Document daily operational actions, equipment performance, and downtime events
- Promote high attention to quality control
- Oversee routine process troubleshooting and maintenance
- Demonstrate working knowledge of oil and gas plant operations
- Operate within regulations of Process Safety Management (PSM) and environment permit requirements
- Communicate in a prompt and effective manner
- Work closely with field operations to ensure all units remain in proper working condition
- Submit work orders for malfunctioning equipment, automation issues, and/or process control issues
Requirements
- Good understanding of gas and/or amine plant performance (thermal, physical, operational, & HSE) including factors that impact performance.
- Able to recognize atypical conditions and trends in critical equipment parameters.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills necessary to develop relationships with the customer, other Plant Support personnel, and Plant Operations personnel which promote an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
- Strong working knowledge of rotating components such as pumps, motors, steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, and field instrumentation.
- Effective English communication and report writing skills required.
- Must be proficient with various software programs and systems (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) as well as database use.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Perform in a team environment, as well as effectively communicate with others.
- Gas treating experience preferred
- Experience with process controls, troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical issues, and/or PLC programming preferred
- Preferred candidates should ideally possess two (2) to ten (10) years' experience in O&G upstream and/or midstream in a position such as field operator, control room operator, lead operator, maintenance technician, etc.
- High School Diploma
- Desired: Associates degree of Applied Science from technical/vocational school, military service or equivalent, or Bachelor of Science, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
