Technical Source is currently in search of a Control Systems Engineer for our client located in Manassas, VA . The qualified candidate will be responsible for the design, commissioning, start up, and troubleshooting of Rockwell/Allen Bradley Building Automation Systems used to control temperature, humidity, and airflow in data centers.
Responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer include:
- Instrumentation and electrical design including creating instrument lists by examining P&ID drawings
- Work on system design and configuration such as PLC and/or DCS control algorithms
- Installing project software and configuring onto site systems
- Provide technical guidance as a part of the leadership team
Qualifications of the Control Systems Engineer include:
- 3+ years’ automation experience
- Experience working with systems such as Rockwell: FactoryTalk Suite, RS Logix/Studio 5000, PlantPAx DCS, Aveva System Platform
- Bachelors degree in a technical field

# Project Overview:
Bechtel is the licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction partner on TerraPower's Natrium team. Selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for its Advanced Reactor demonstration Program, Natrium is participating in a DOE initiative to re-establish U.S. leadership in nuclear energy that provides matching funds to industry to design and build an operational advanced reactor. TerraPower, a leading advanced generation technology company founded by former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, will be deploying its 345 MWE sodium fast reactor (SFR), called Natrium. The Natrium Demonstration plant features an advanced, cost-competitive reactor design that is safer, easier and less costly to construct, less expensive to operate, and able to provide energy that is competitive with fossil fuels. It also features an innovative molten salt storage output, combined, the plant can produce more than 500 MWE. The Natrium Demonstration plant will be licenced by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will participate in the design, development, and evaluation of control systems components and processes. You will collaborate and support other engineering disciplines for control systems matters. Your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard control systems engineering techniques will enable you to make impactful contributions to the team. This position is performed under the leadership of a Control Systems Engineering supervisor, lead or designee.

**What You Will Need:**
