As a SPG Financial Controller - Associate, within the Firmwide Financial Controller team, you are responsible for the oversight of the financial statements and management reporting, ensuring a sound control environment. **Job Responsibilities:**

+ Partner with FFC teams globally
+ Assist in the thorough assessment of the issues and outcomes & clearly communicate financial information to the lines of businesses and able to flag potential issues

**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:**
+ Experience in Product Control, Financial Control or knowledge of SEC reporting/Reg Reporting
+ In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations
+ A minimum of 4 years accounting or industry experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
+ Proficient Excel
+ Strong skills in time management, problem solving, written and oral communication
+ Team player with ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations and businesses
**Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:**
+ Computer skills/knowledge in Alteryx, tableau and SQL a plus

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Controller reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance Control, and is responsible for coordinating the correction of mechanical irregularities that may develop during flight operations and monitors the status of out-of-service aircraft.
2.8.14.2 Specific
- Issues control numbers for all reported aircraft discrepancies.
- Authorizes MEL/CDL/NEF deferrals in accordance with the procedures Outlined in the GPM.
- Maintains current deferred discrepancy information to ensure timely repair of these discrepancies.
- Notifies Dispatch of all MELICDL/NEF items that may impact flight operations.
- Notifies appropriate maintenance management of any incident or accident involving our client's equipment or personnel.
- Supervises and provides technical guidance to line. on-call and/or Contracted maintenance personnel as required.
- Communicates the status of out-of-service and spare aircraft, Ferry Flights, mechanical delays and cancellations (via text paging, conference calls, emails, etc.) to all concerned departments as situations occur.
- Notifies the Quality Assurance Department when the need to authorize additional Rll personnel is identified at any location, including other air carriers.
- Coordinates the routing of appropriate parts, equipment and personnel to out-of-service aircraft as required.
- Ensures Ferry Flights and Functional or Operational Check Flights are conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in the GPM.
- Ensures On-the-Job Training (OJT) is conducted and documented.
- Performs additional tasks as specified in the CASS/Reliability Section Of the Mesa Airlines, Inc. Genera/ Procedures Manual (GPM).
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Maintenance Control.
2.8.14.3 Qualifications
- Holds a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- Three years of experience on CRJ 700/900, ERJ 175, B737 preferred (or) Three years of part 121 Maintenance Controller experience. (or) Three years of experience on regional and commercial aircraft

Support – Sales and Service
Serve as the leading technical expert on assigned product(s) to support Sales and Service in our pursuit of business growth. Specific activities supporting this responsibility include:
- Educate the sales force in product features, benefits, unique selling propositions, demonstration techniques, etc. Identify, develop and deliver training as needed.
- Educate the Sales and Service departments (internal and external) on correct product application, specification, troubleshooting, etc. Identify, develop and deliver training as needed.

- Analyze product sales performance (unit volume); identify gaps, possible threats, and opportunities
- Meet customers to explore needs and preferences (plant visits, trade shows, etc.)
- Participate in professional organizations (trade associations or standards bodies) to understand shifts in technical requirements or technology preferences; influence favorable outcomes for VEGA where feasible
- Define and prioritize required product approvals and certifications
- Evaluate the need and benefits of bringing instrument production to VEGA Americas
- Communicate findings and recommendations to Sales Management
- Maintain strong relationships with German Product Management peers to share information and collaborate on product lifecycle management
Product Marketing
Project VEGA's expertise outside the company by educating customers on VEGA's technological advantages and benefits. Specific activities supporting this responsibility include:
- Collaborate with German Product Management and US Marketing to plan and execute product launches as required
- Create and deliver presentations and product demos at major trade shows/conferences
- Create and deliver customer webinars and training
- Work with the marketing department to create marketing collateral such as LinkedIn posts, email campaign messaging, white papers, videos, etc.
- Develop and improve sales demos and trade show models
Product Lifecycle Management
Identify market needs, collect requirements, and define the technical specifications for new products. Evaluate product lifetime performance and recommend termination when appropriate. Provide coordination/leadership for all Product Development phases.
This position requires out of market overnight travel 25% to 50% of the time.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Sales or other Technical field

- Manage data requests into and out of the Financial Reporting group, serving as liaison between data suppliers and data users, including line-of-business and legal entity controllers
- Enhance the overall control environment around the financial reporting function
- Mobilize change wherever possible in order to simplify processes and enhance controls
- Produce monthly controller's financial review materials and presentation to senior management review
- Manage the production of the JPMC Foundation's annual financial statements and coordinate with external auditor
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5 years in accounting with experience in month-end close and compiling stand-alone financial statements
- Strong control mindset (standard operating procedures, analytical review, secondary review, automated solution management, etc.) required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (with strong accounting experience)
- Experience with a financial consolidation and reporting system (i.e. SAP interface)
- Experience managing a staff of skilled professionals
- Experience in managing process and workflow enhancement
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and execute in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to partner across all levels of the organization and influence decisions and priorities outside of one's direct span of control
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience preparing executive summary reporting and partnership amongst multiple stake-holders is beneficial
- CPA license beneficial but not required
- Knowledge of other financial reporting systems beneficial

As our Product Manager, Mercury Controllers, youll support HIDs successby:
- Developing a strategic vision aligned with business priorities and aspirations.
