Overview

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our innovative Fintech team. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, integrating Google Analytics (GA4) / Google Tag Manager, and delivering actionable insights through Looker Studio dashboards. You will set-up and manage financial marketing data in BigQuery to support marketing teams in making data-driven decisions. This position requires strong client-facing experience, as you will collaborate directly with external stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using BigQuery for high-volume financial marketing data.
  • Integrate Google Analytics (GA4) data with other data sources to track user behavior, conversion funnels, and product performance.
  • Create and manage web analytics tracking framework across a variety of third-party web applications

You. Platinum Technologies currently has an opportunity for a Web Analytics Specialist with the International Trade Administration (ITA). The Web Analytics Specialist, a critical role within the Office of Public Affairs Digital (OPAD) team, transforms web, social, and email engagement data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive strategic decisions at all levels of ITA leadership and improve digital experiences for ITA stakeholders and customers. This role serves as a critical connection between analytics, content, design, and product while providing the data, insights and metrics needed to improve usability, performance, and user satisfaction.

As the team’s analytics lead, you will own reporting across platforms, including website performance and governance (GA4, Siteimprove, Power BI, and CrazyEgg), social media engagement (Sprinklr), and email outreach (GovDelivery and Salesforce Digital Engagement Hub). You will collaborate closely with the OPAD Director, Digital Strategist, Trade.gov Product Owner, and stakeholders across the ITA. You’ll be the go-to for analytics storytelling across the site, responsible for providing data and insight that inform content updates, design improvements, and strategic initiatives, ensuring our digital products consistently improve to serve both user and organizational goals.

This role is HYBRID in Washington, DC. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

  • Lead web, social, and email channel analytics collection, interpretation, and reporting efforts
  • Run regular analysis using Siteimprove to identify patterns, diagnose anomalies, discover gaps, and inform daily to long-term strategic decisions
  • Translate data into clear, prioritized recommendations for product owners, designers, strategists, stakeholders, and leadership
  • Serve as analytics liaison to product owners, digital leads, and content teams
  • Develop dashboards and reports that inform roadmap and content decisions and support strategic decision making
  • Deliver weekly/monthly insight summaries and trend analyses
  • Recommend and/or validate changes to IA, UX, and content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align analytics with design and content strategies
  • Support UX testing and optimization with actionable insights
  • Ensure data is used to inform, prioritize, and validate, not just justify
  • Develop hypotheses based on data and work with stakeholders to implement and evaluate UX/content improvements
  • Support A/B tests and optimization projects with analytics baselines and post-test performance evaluations
  • Collaborate on cross-team initiatives involving surveys, feedback tools, and/or chatbots by providing insights and recommendations to enhance reporting, strategy, or user experience based on analytics and behavior data
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Power BI

  • Sprinklr (or other enterprise social media analytics)
  • GovDelivery (or other bulk email analytics)
  • Excel/Google Sheets
  • Crazy Egg, Hotjar, or similar behavioral tools
