- Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or workbench process efficiently without quality defects
- Enter complete and accurate work order information as required
- Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain the 5S+ Check sheet (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management's attention

- 2+ years of experience in firmware development for microcontrollers
- Proficient in C/C++ and able to understand Assembly programming languages.
- Basic understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems, and knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, PWM, RS485, and ModBus.
- Familiar in debugging real-time issues using IDEs, debuggers, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.

More about the roleThis is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Fabrication Operator in Americus, GA with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, is the world leader in lighting.
Prepare and operate CNC machines (turret and brake press) to perform tasks such as punching, part forming, drilling, milling, etc.
Execute First Article of Inspection; visually identify different parts; repeat inspection each hour on larger orders; Complete First Article of Inspection documentation and place in file
Perform all actual dimension checks on parts to print tolerance specifications using measuring devices (calipers, protractors, measuring tape)
Remove dies from presses, clean off scrap, and set-up press including shaking metal sheets to remove dies
Perform safety checks on machine prior to operating
Feed metal to die, stack parts, handle material, etc
Visually verify part quality for presence of scratches, flatness, roughness, chatter, porosity, rust and excessive material or debris
Confirm each order in DMM upon completion, end of shift or end of run
Properly label containers and bins; move to correct location

We're looking for a Connected Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Team in Peachtree City, GA . This role is dynamic and provides extensive exposure across multiple fronts of our business. You will play a key role in growing sales in our smart street lighting sector by acting as a liaison between the customer and our sales support teams. You will be responsible for managing complete system solutions applications from bid state through the commissioning process. You will coordinate complete bid packages inclusive of RFP responses, device layouts, and pricing. You will act as technical and post-sales support stepping all projects through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Review Request for Proposals to provide a customized connected systems solution based on project requirements
Coordinate project specific device placement drawings based on project control/design intent
Manage the pre-sales and post-sales activity for the North American region, acting as the liaison between the regional sales team and NA marketing, engineering, and sales support teams.
Assist with the luminaire selection, lighting requirements, electrical systems, recommending fixtures and controls to the customer based on project specifications and requirements.
Follow up with Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Marketing and Project Management to help ensure accurate and timely procurement of our products.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related discipline from an accredited institution
5+ years of solutions architecture, sales engineering or field engineering experience
3+ years lighting control systems experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience reading electrical drawings and lighting and control bid documents
Proficient in MicroSoft Office
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently and a strong technical aptitude and learning agile
Analytical, personable and a true problem-solver.

- Manage the pre-sales and post-sales activity for the North American region, acting as the liaison between the regional sales team and NA marketing, engineering, and sales support teams.
- Assist with the luminaire selection, lighting requirements, electrical systems, recommending fixtures and controls to the customer based on project specifications and requirements.
- Follow up with Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Marketing and Project Management to help ensure accurate and timely procurement of our products.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related discipline from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of solutions architecture, sales engineering or field engineering experience
- 3+ years lighting control systems experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience reading electrical drawings and lighting and control bid documents
- Proficient in MicroSoft Office
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently and a strong technical aptitude and learning agile
- Analytical, personable and a true problem-solver.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Software Development Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia with Cooper Lighting responsible for designing, coding, and implementing computer programs and applications for Lighting applications.
Key Responsibilities:-
Responsible for designing, coding, and implementing computer programs and applications for Lighting applications.
Work with Application Leads and Senior Developers to gather and understand requirements and existing applications and convert these requirements into application code.
Responsible for preparing design workflows that outline how users will interact with applications, ensuring positive and negative scenarios.
Implement unit testing and trial runs of developer's code and ensure that program implementation meets requirements.
Responsible for implementing mobile and web applications that allow control of smart Lighting devices.
Take ownership of assigned bugs in order to debug and address issues.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of related experience required.
Alternatively, a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
Experience must include two (2) years with:
Software Design Principles to design, develop and debug;
Object Oriented design principles;
Mobile app development using Obj-J/Swift/Android Java;
Front end technology including Javascript and HTML/CSS;
Front end framework including Angular;
Debugging tools including adb; and
Bluetooth framework for Mobile Application.
