+ Collaborate with your art/design partner on each project to build creative, cohesive campaigns

Required Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of experience in an advertising/marketing agency or in-house marketing department

+ Curiosity and willingness to learn from Creative directors and senior writers.
+ Experience producing copy across communication channels

The anticipated pay range for this position is $74,600 - $119,500 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.

Job Description
We are looking for a Copywriter based in Minneapolis or Chicago to join our creative team. Here are a few things we already know about you:
+ You have experience concepting and developing integrated ad campaigns
+ You can flex conceptually from social to video to technical writing
+ You're portfolio of work showcases your ability to think of unexpected ideas
+ You're ambitious, a team player, resourceful and accountable
ABOUT THE GIG:
+ Understand our clients' business challenges, develop compelling integrated creative ideas based on strategies, write scripts, posts, headlines and copy that help our clients move their businesses forward
+ Present your work internally and to clients
+ Hungry to continue to grow your creative concepting skills and copywriting craft
+ Team up with art directors and designers from concept thru production
+ Help foster an inclusive, inspiring and energetic working environment that ultimately leads to great work and happy people
+ Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including other creatives, account management, production, strategy and media
+ Stay abreast of trends and new media formats, absorbing ideas from pop culture, social media, etc.
+ Meet deadlines and requirements, from kickoff to final delivery
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
+ Experience as a copywriter in a creative/ad agency
+ A creative portfolio which displays your ability to think in unexpected ways
+ Knowledge of integrated production/campaign development
+ Can write compelling copy in long formats (websites) and short formats (social)
+ Salary is commensurate with your experience and quality of portfolio
The compensation range for this role is: $59k- $80k.
