About the Team:
As a member of the corporate strategy team, you will help shape the future direction of UKG by working with executive leadership on diverse and high priority strategic topics. - Define and lead strategic projects including market entry, product strategy, operational initiatives, and strategic alliances

- Support ongoing strategic planning initiatives and shape strategic direction of the business
- Build and maintain deep understanding of the HCM market, it's key players and competitive dynamics

About You:
Basic Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of experience driving projects from initial concept (including hypotheses development and decision frameworks) and design and lead supporting analyses
- 5-7+ years of work experience with 2-3 years of experience with a leading management consulting firm (e.g. LEK)
- Strong intellect and business acumen with the ability to work across a broad portfolio of topics
- Structured and logical thinker with excellent strategic story lining capabilities
- Distinctive presentation building skills with strong data visualization experience and ability to tell the story of complex business issues and focus on what matters most
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to run and manage highly complicated quantitative analysis to support strategic recommendations
- Experience with primary and secondary market research and survey methods
- Executive presence with polished writing and public speaking skills, comfortable on feet during presentations with the ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience

Description
This role is a key member of the corporate development / M&A team. Supporting deal leads, this role will support select aspects of the M&A process, including sourcing, business case development, valuation modeling, and due diligence-related analysis. Over time there will be opportunity to take on more ownership of the full end-to-end process, based on demonstrated ability and performance. The Corporate Development team is a small, high-profile team based remotely (ET). The team is responsible for all M&A activity (acquisitions and disposals), minority investments and select strategic partnerships across Cengage Group. We work closely with the Cengage Group executive team as well as senior management across our business divisions and corporate functions. The Senior Manager of Corporate Development will assist with the end-to-end M&A process including target research, due diligence, financial valuation, and deal execution.
**Where you'll work:** Location: open to remote US-based candidates able to work during Eastern time zone business hours. This role reports to the VP, Corporate Development based in the NYC area. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required for projects and conferences.
**What you'll do here:**
+ Lead on financial models, in collaboration with business and finance teams
+ Support end-to-end M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, development of business case, deal execution and legal documents
+ Manage interactions during transaction process with internal working group, external advisors, and seller / target
+ Develop and maintain potential acquisition target list, by working with business division leadership to understand strategic growth priorities
+ Support with drafting Investment Memos for Cengage Group executives and Board
**Skills you will need here:**
+ Undergraduate degree, preferably in a relevant field such as business or finance
+ 3-5 years relevant work experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, corporate development / M&A
+ Prior experience at an education, media or technology firm is useful but not required
+ M&A due diligence and deal execution experience
+ Strong financial and valuation modeling skills and understanding of financial statements
+ Strategic and analytical thinking, solid project management and problem-solving skills
+ Effective communications skills, written and verbal, with the ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization and convey analysis and proposals succinctly
+ Self-starter with strong attention to detail and focus on outcomes, who is also highly collaborative and able to lead cross-functional teams

Third Party Compliance Consultant Sr

The Third Party Compliance Consultant Sr performs ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to established policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The pay range for this position is $31.73 (entry-level qualifications) - $54.90 (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.

This position will be supporting both of these areas of compliance:

  • Hospital Billing Compliance
  • Third Party Compliance

Essential functions of the role include:

  • Conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with BSWH policies and CMS and Texas Medicaid regulations.
  • Helping in reviewing reported compliance incidents and complaints applicable to BSWH policies and procedures or federal and state laws.
  • Managing and developing education and training materials as appropriate.
  • Assisting in assessing and mitigating risks related to third-party relationships.
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of third-party due diligence processes.
  • Collaborating with procurement, legal, supply chain, and other departments.

The Role

The Lead Business Operations Analyst plays a central role in coordinating and executing the commercial planning process across the organization. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who excels at synthesizing data into clear, actionable formats and supporting cross-functional collaboration. The analyst will be responsible for managing planning tools, preparing executive-ready materials, and ensuring smooth operational execution of planning cycles.

The Main Responsibilities

Planning Process Coordination

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of commercial planning cycles, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Maintain planning calendars, templates, trackers, and documentation to ensure consistency and transparency.

  • Support cross-functional teams in meeting planning milestones and submitting required inputs.

Data Management & Visualization

What We Look For in a Candidate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, and/or FP&A.

  • Experience managing planning processes or business operations in a commercial environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
