The Therapist is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other internal and external professionals. This role also involves participating in outreach and marketing efforts to promote services and attract new referrals, contributing to the overall mission of delivering comprehensive mental health care.  You will also:  

• Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine individuals’ needs and appropriate interventions.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools and techniques to gather relevant information.
• Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and the treatment team.
• Set measurable goals and objectives tailored to individuals’ needs.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Provide consistent and comprehensive services to all assigned individuals on your caseload.

Your Role as a Therapist: As a vital member of our team, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services that elevate clients' mental health. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with colleagues and community professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs and suitable interventions.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools to gather crucial information.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, and treatment teams to create tailored treatment plans.
• Establish measurable goals to guide the therapeutic process.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans through regular follow-ups.
• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress thoroughly and timely.
• Adhere to all regulatory and organizational compliance standards.
• Engage as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide holistic care.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies.
• Offer immediate support and intervention during crises, developing safety plans as necessary.
• Conduct outreach to promote mental health services and draw in new clients.
• Connect clients with additional resources and support services.
• Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in the field of mental health therapy.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

State-Specific Requirements:

• Alabama: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; two years' experience with children/families; eligibility for LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or ALC licensure.
• Florida: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; one year experience with children/families; must be a Registered Intern (RMHCI).
• Mississippi: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; two years' experience with children/families; eligibility for LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure.
• North Carolina: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; one year experience with children/families; must hold associate license as LCSWA or LCMHCA.
• South Carolina: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; two years' experience with children/families; must hold license as LMSW, LMFT, or LPCA.
• Tennessee: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; two years' experience with children/families; eligibility for LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure.
• Virginia: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; two years' experience with children/families; must be a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work.
