DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Conduct interviews to obtain information from clients, their family members, and others to identify economic, emotional, health, or physical barriers which impede children's ability to improve and thrive. Provide information about agency programs; determine/verify eligibility for program services. Assist families in formulating plans to change behaviors, circumstances, etc. to effect a healthier and more productive lifestyle for their children. Make referrals as appropriate. Manage a caseload. Keep reports and records well organized, understandable, and current.

Responsible, with supervision, to provide family services. Complete and process all procedures necessary to establish family eligibility for a wide variety of services on the basis of established policy. Responsible for the provision of counseling services to clients and members of their families to aid them in achieving a more satisfactory adjustment to specific problems or situations. Assist and plan for supportive services for clients who are in situations detrimental to their well-being or that of the community. Assist in providing protective and supportive services for abused or neglected children. Prepare social studies, case histories and home studies. Communicate orally and in writing in a professional manner. Responsible, with supervision, to attend court hearings, prepare and/or present testimony on case progress and make recommendations to the court regarding specific cases, if asked.

Duties are not limited to desk work and may include frequent standing, climbing steps and walking distances. Must be able to climb flights of steps in homes or apartment buildings where no elevators are present. Often works more than eight hours per day. Work involves frequent driving both in and out of County. Required to drive County vehicle while transporting children and parents. Manage multiple tasks, paying close attention to details under a constantly changing work environment which includes completion of paperwork and meeting strict deadlines. Responsible for completion of daily deadlines on paperwork and work assignments. Frequent involvement in abuse, neglect, and other situations where children are involved to determine appropriate and necessary steps needed to protect the children.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 1-hour lunch.
    • Once a caseworker is trained, normal working hours may be flexed to coincide with consumer needs
    • On-call 24/7 on rotating basis. Irregular hours including evenings and weekends as required.
  • $1,500 sign on bonus available for this position after six (6) months of service.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college level course work which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
  • A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or in a similar position performing paraprofessional case management functions.

  • PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

THE POSITION
Are you a motivated and dependable individual with a passion for helping children and families? If so, Northumberland County Children and Youth is eager to welcome you as a County Casework Manager 2. Our staff performs a variety of social service and casework duties designed to provide supportive services to children, youth, and families. We work in close cooperation with other social service agencies, hospitals, mental health facilities, police, Courts, schools, and other community resources. Join our team and help lead agency staff in the performance of a variety of social service and casework duties designed to support children, youth, and families in our community!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this professional position, you will be responsible for the supervision and evaluation of workers within your unit and organizing activities of Northumberland County Children and Youth Services. Work involves assessing community needs and resources as well as coordinating children and youth activities with other programs and agencies. This position requires thorough knowledge of applicable federal and state laws as they pertain to the welfare of children and youth. Key duties include:
  • Preparing annual service plans and budget estimates
  • Interpreting state and federal regulations and advising staff regarding the same
  • Preparing and directing the compilation of reports, correspondence, and the maintenance of files and records
  • Conducting management and case staff meetings
  • Training staff on current policies, programs, and procedures
  • Developing and evaluating ongoing staff training needs and programs
  • Acting as staff assistant to the children and youth Advisory Board
  • Representing the Northumberland County children and youth program with community agencies as well as at regional and statewide meetings
  • Making recommendations to Northumberland County commissioners on agency related matters
  • Working closely with the overall judicial system, president judge, and juvenile probation office
  • Facilitating children and youth services primary providers meeting

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This professional position is responsible for providing case management to individuals meeting criteria for developmental delays, mental health, and/or with intellectual disabilities.

Responsible for monitoring, linking, and evaluating services. Link to other services and make referrals as needed. Provide regular direct individual contact and provide face-to-face case management services. Meet productivity standards as set for the program. Schedule and facilitate meetings to develop an individualized service plan with involvement of the individual and/or family. Enter necessary information and maintain information in computerized database, state computer systems, and in charts in accordance with state, federal and licensing regulations and Agency policy. Obtain and update information within required timeframes. Provide crisis intervention services as needed. Work in cooperation with and consult with Agency staff, supervisors, other providers, and community resources as needed. Link individuals to transportation services or transport individuals to appointments as needed.

Attend meetings, staffings, and trainings as needed. At times, you may provide coverage in Bedford County. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Job Summary:

The Therapist works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families. Services may be provided via telehealth, outpatient offices, and/or community-based settings.

Education/Certification/Licensure:

  • LSW or LCDC II license and related educational requirement:

  • Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with client, family, and caregivers to provide them support as appropriate.

  • Identify appropriate interventions for clients in crisis, working effectively with the staff to access appropriate resources, and engaging community partners to develop an effective plan for supporting clients.
  • Provide Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment (CPST), SUD Targeted Case Management and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), and/or care coordination functions if needed.
  • Serve as a liaison to coordinate, makes referrals, or arrange for appropriate community resources when needed, acts as an advocate for the client as needed.

**The Opportunity**
We are looking for a highly driven and technically proficient  **Senior** **Sales** **Ambassador**  to join our Diagnostics team managing the Los Angeles and Orange County. As a Senior Ambassador, you will accelerate growth and expand market share across key accounts. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in clinical diagnostics and a deep understanding of laboratory and hospital environments. The Senior Ambassador will play a critical role in driving revenue by leveraging their technical expertise to influence purchasing decisions and deliver tailored diagnostic solutions. This role operates as the primary account management contact, aiming to improve economic profitability, increase customer loyalty, and retain business through contract renewal and closing new solutions.
**What You'll Work On:**
+ **Customer Relationship & Retention:** Serve as a trusted advisor to established customers, fostering loyalty and achieving retention targets. Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and regular business reviews. Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers to secure early renewals and mitigate competitive threats.
+ **Account Management & Growth:** Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on value expansion and profitability.Identify and implement operational and service improvements to drive customer success.Influence purchasing decisions and optimize reagent utilization.
+ **Technical & Operational Support:** Perform assay integrations and address laboratory technical needs.Support new account implementations, including ordering, installation, and validation.Coordinate order, delivery, and billing processes to ensure operational efficiency.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Technical Service, and Finance to deliver cohesive customer experiences.Escalate and resolve customer challenges in collaboration with the service organization.Contribute to quality effectiveness through accurate documentation of complaints and resolutions.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's degree with equivalent experience.
+ Minimum of 3 years of professional experiencein sales or clinical laboratory operations.
+ Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Life Sciences,or Medical Technology and/orhealthcare-related Field.
+ Experience with a proven track record in sales, field service, or within a technical call center.
+ Financial Acumen - good understanding and analysis of financial data in the healthcare market
+ Deep understanding of laboratory instrumentation, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
