Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Field Service Manager provides leadership and manages the overall direction of the Field Service Technician team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. We are looking for a leader with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a customer service focus.
As a Field Service Manager you will be responsible for directing, coaching, and developing technicians to create a high-performing team that delivers the best customer service possible. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting new employees through training and future development
- Demonstrating and coaching behaviors that ensure quality customer service
- Training existing Installers/Technicians on changing processes, procedures, and technologies
- Conducting on-site inspections to evaluate and coach team members regarding quality service and adherence to safety standards
- Improving team and individual performance by working hands-on alongside the technicians
- Managing fleet-related processes including vehicle maintenance and upkeep
- Addressing escalated customer and/or employee issues

- A strong competency in leading, developing, mentoring, and coaching
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to obtain an elevated understanding of processes, procedures, and responsibilities performed by direct reports

- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, work in small spaces and/or in all climates, and safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to climb a 40 Ft. ladder safely; employee, including any tools or equipment that is carried, must be able to remain within the weight requirements of either the 300-pound ladder or the 375-pound ladder (the fall protection equipment capacity is 310 pounds and the tools are 40 pounds)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including 45+ hours a week, including weekends

We are seeking a skilled Structured Cabling Technician to support low voltage infrastructure projects in warehouse settings. This role involves working at heights on lifts, installing wireless access points (WAPs), and handling Cat5e/Cat6 cabling systems. The technician will be part of a team focused on delivering high-quality structured cabling solutions for commercial and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
+ Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables.
+ Mount and configure wireless access points (WAPs) in high-ceiling warehouse environments.
+ Safely operate lifts and elevated platforms (Lift Certification required).
+ Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for cable routing.
+ Perform punchdowns, labeling, and cable dressing in MDF/IDF closets.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs.
+ Adhere to OSHA safety standards and wear full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, lanyard).

Qualifications

+ Lift Certification and OSHA 10 required; Lull Certification is a plus.

Overview:
We're seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Cabling Technician to support structured cabling installations in commercial environments across Modesto, CA. This role involves working at heights, handling overtime, and being part of a fast-paced team focused on delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities:
+ Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cables and fiber optic lines.
+ Mount and secure cable trays, j-hooks, and other support structures.
+ Operate lifts and work at elevated heights safely and confidently.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
+ Maintain clean and organized workspaces and adhere to safety protocols.
+ Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
+ Prior experience in low-voltage or structured cabling preferred.
+ Comfortable working on lifts and at heights (certification a plus).
+ Must be open to overtime and flexible scheduling.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

We are seeking a skilled Structured Cabling Technician to support low voltage infrastructure projects in warehouse settings. This role involves working at heights on lifts, installing wireless access points (WAPs), and handling Cat5e/Cat6 cabling systems. The technician will be part of a team focused on delivering high-quality structured cabling solutions for commercial and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
+ Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables.
+ Mount and configure wireless access points (WAPs) in high-ceiling warehouse environments.
+ Safely operate lifts and elevated platforms (Lift Certification required).
+ Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for cable routing.
+ Perform punchdowns, labeling, and cable dressing in MDF/IDF closets.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs.
+ Adhere to OSHA safety standards and wear full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, lanyard).
+ Collaborate with lead technicians and project managers to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 6 months of experience in structured cabling or related field.
+ Familiarity with BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA standards and National Electric Code.
+ Lift Certification and OSHA 10 required; Lull Certification is a plus.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Skills
+ Cable pulling and termination (Cat5e, Cat6, RG45, RG11).
+ WAP installation and configuration.
+ Use of cable trays, J-hooks, ladder racks, and conduit systems.
+ Fiber splicing and dressing (Ribbon/Single OSP/ISP).
+ Blueprint reading and structured cabling layout design.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
