We’re looking for a detail-oriented creative with strong retouching skills and organizational expertise. About the role

We’re looking for a Creative Strategist to support creative direction and strategy for high-performing ad campaigns across Meta and other social platforms


You’ll be responsible for developing innovative creative concepts, writing compelling UGC briefs, and turning performance data into insights that fuel growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and performance marketing, someone who loves crafting direct-response copy, guiding production, and using data to continuously iterate and improve.


This is our first full-time hire, which means you’ll work directly with the founders and play a key role in shaping how creative strategy runs at Whisper Media as we grow.


What you'll do

  • Generate creative ideas for static, UGC, and video ad campaigns.
  • Craft clear, compelling creative briefs and scripts for creators, designers, and editors.
  • Identify and source content from creators, influencers, and existing assets.
  • Repurpose existing assets into fresh, platform-native ad concepts that feel new
  • Partner closely with video editors and designers to bring concepts to life. 
  • Track and analyze performance (ROAS, CAC, CTR, thumbstop, hold rate) to guide testing.
  • Develop and manage a creative testing framework - iterating on winning concepts while scaling learnings.
  • Collaborate with creators on whitelisted content and manage ongoing creative relationships.
  • Shape the foundation of our creative ops, building processes that will scale with our clients and our team.
  • Contribute to messaging across ad funnels (landing pages, email/SMS, advertorials) to keep voice and strategy aligned.

What you'll be doing:

● Manage and maintain company brand standards, ensuring graphic elements are consistently applied across all internal and external mediums

● Ensure all creative assets align with the company's strategic goals and vision

● Develop and maintain a centralized brand toolkit and asset library for internal and external use

● Design a wide range of creative assets and offer creative insights on a variety of internal and external initiatives and campaigns – including social media, email campaigns, direct mail, branded merchandise, event materials, infographics, motion graphics and more

● Work cross-functionally with marketing, communications, media/production, and operational and executive leadership

● Coach and mentor graphic designers and other marketing teammates

● Work with individuals across a variety of teams to develop creative solutions for our company, partners, and clients

● Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, or production partners as needed

● Provide art direction on photoshoots, construction jobsites and other shoots

● Provide best practices and encourage creativity with all marketing team members, staying abreast of and applying design trends

● You hold a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, visual communications, or a related discipline

● You have 5+ years of graphic design experience

● You have management and/or mentorship experience

● You have a strong creative portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, design systems, and campaign-worthy work across various media

Bonus skills/experience:

● Know a little about the A/E/C industry already? Bonus!

● We use Monday.com (project management), WordPress (website), and Open Asset (digital asset management), so it would be fantastic if you already know those tech tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative process from concept to execution across various projects, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
  • Manage and work directly with an in-house team of two as well as a team of multiple freelance professionals assisting in the day-to-day tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to create cohesive campaigns and marketing materials.
  • Oversee the development and editing of visual assets, including product imagery, 3D Models, lifestyle renderings, and videos.
  • Manage thousands of image files in an efficient and organized manner.

Qualifications, Education, & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar role within a creative agency or corporate environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects across various media.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team, as well as efficiently stay on top and manage peer workloads.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as experience in 3D software (Blender or others).
  • Experience in home industry is a big plus, Furniture specifically even more so.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively. When the answer isn’t given to you, you must be able to find your own.
  • Strong attention to detail and file organization skills.
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
