About the Role
As a fractional Creative Director, you will be key in building our brand vision. You will oversee the ideation and development of creative assets, primarily for marketing Wonders films and series, but also for our companys brand identity. Day to Day
- Oversee development and execution of all creative collateral (graphics, video, copy) for paid, social, email, push, PR, print, in-person and homepage marketing campaigns
- Oversee and deliver assets supporting corporate communications, including decks, reports, interactive presentations and physical assets for events
- Hire and lead external talent (freelancers, creative agencies, vendors, etc.), ensuring alignment with project requirements, quality standards, and business objectives

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of design industry experience with an agency or in-house

The North America Stores (NAS) team is seeking a Sr. Creative Director to be the driving force behind our content and copy for strategic initiatives including printed catalogs, our Haul program, category marketing, and new brand launches.
As Sr. Creative Director, you will distill diverse input from large customer segments and stakeholders to set the vision, create strategy, build consensus on priorities, and ensure our marketing campaigns are nothing short of amazing. You will transform customer insights into strategies while developing, implementing, and producing impactful campaigns.
You'll be the creative force behind our printed catalogs, making them impossible to ignore. You'll keep our copy playbook fresh and relevant, and spearhead category marketing content that speaks directly to our customers. **Overview**
**THE ROLE:**
The Director of Brand, Creative & Marketing Operations reports to the VP of North America Marketing and supports regional business goals by leading brand, creative and marketing operations team for North America. This key position will manage the ongoing development of brand and creative strategy while leading content development and marketing resource allocation to support marketing initiatives for regional and corporate stakeholders across Sales, Events, Marketing and Operations departments. This role will collaborate with other Marketing stakeholders, cross-functional regional partners and other corporate teams. Additionally, this role is also responsible for establishing and enforcing best practices for content management, creative project and resource management in order to support business needs, service regional stakeholders while ensuring our digital tools, online materials and websites are on brand and in compliance with regulatory agencies. This position oversees the Brand, Creative, Content, and Marketing Operations with Project Management teams (content strategists, designers, photo and video staff, writers, translators, copyeditors, production artists, project managers, creative operations) located in Torrance and Guadalajara. This position will serve as a liaison to the corporate GBS Creative and Project Management teams in assessing regional resource capacity and managing respective budget to support regional outsourcing needs.
**HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:**
- Lead regional creative project planning, manage staff-project allocation for NAM Creative leveraging Content Management and Project Management resources, establish the SOP for external creative partners management, and establish and adhere to budget guidelines for video, photography and contingent creative agencies.
- Determine the editorial voice for the North America region, determine content strategy and creative direction for marketing initiatives and campaigns, and ensure messaging and translations across all marketing & communication channels are optimized to provide an Industry-leading experience for Distributors, Preferred Members and Customers.
- Partner with NAM Sales, Marketing, Events, Operations and other regional/corporate teams to successfully activate ongoing and new business programs and promotions in the NAM region to drive sales growth. Establish and enforce content management best practices for company websites and digital asset management to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Work with the design and creative teams to ensure the best creative and production solutions and innovative methods of production are sought to deliver flawless execution.
- Oversee, manage and stay on top of emerging video and digital technologies and platforms to assure quality and cutting-edge content creation production and digital asset management. This includes management of external or third-party vendors required to update systems.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing team and Regional DO on the search engine optimization strategy for NAM Distributor and Preferred Member websites.
- Support the ongoing development of marketing journeys and campaigns for the DS and CS initiatives by collaborating with DS Marketing and CS Marketing leads.
- Work with external agencies and vendors to identify opportunities to develop outside support for core projects and manage demand overflow.
- Evaluate and implement new creative marketing strategies and technologies that support market innovation, as well as identify opportunities for process efficiencies and workflow enhancements.
- Establish SOPs for Marketing Operations and ensure compliance with Project Management guidelines to be followed by all Project Managers across Marketing, Sales, and Events functions.
- Secure proper allocation of Marketing Operations resources (Creative, Content, Project Management) across teams based in Torrance and Guadalajara to support Marketing and other regional stakeholders needs.
- Direct teams in the application of market knowledge and campaign analytics to enhance marketing initiatives and content development.

**SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:**
- 10+ years' of demonstrated experience in marketing content and creative development (including digital, video, literature, marketing programs and promotions, etc) as well as creative project management
- 10+ years' experience in brand development, digital content strategy and management
- 8+ years' experience managing multiple projects and communications with multiple stakeholders, agencies and business groups
- 5 years demonstrated leadership experience specifically with multi-disciplinary creative teams. Exceptional management skills and mentoring of direct reports and staff, and proven track record of fostering a positive work environment that inspires professionalism, creativity and innovation
- Ability to develop product positioning via packaging, overall look and feel as well as relevant messaging
- Solid experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Asset Management tools and Project Management platforms including Workfront
- Ability to influence internal and external teams based on experience, insights and leadership skills
- Ability to develop strategy and action plans for execution of content and creative deliverables to support business needs
- Proven experience with creating compelling messaging and creative concepts optimized for different target demographics.
