Job Responsibilities/Duties
The Credit Analyst is responsible for obtaining, preparing, inputting, and reviewing financial and credit related information; compiling data from credit bureau reports and other sources; performing credit support and completing financial analysis for credit personnel; communicating with members, accountants, title company personnel and other related parties; and coordinating and monitoring the maintenance of accurate loan file documentation and other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Agricultural Business with concentration in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- Prior underwriting experience preferred.
- Must have good analytical and statistical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data for credit related activities.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a good understanding of accounting and finance.
- Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, and Adobe.
- Agricultural knowledge, experience and education are desirable.
Yosemite Farm Credit offers a competitive benefit package that includes, but is not limited to, outstanding vacation/sick time accrual, health, dental, and vision plans, tuition reimbursement, 401k fixed AND company match, corporate fitness program, performance related compensation, volunteer time off and paid holidays.
The Base Salary for this position ranges from $,000 (minimum) - 7,000 (maximum) per month, depending on experience. Yosemite Farm Credit offers a Workplace Flexibility Program for qualifying positions that provides the opportunity to have a hybrid (in office and work from home) schedule. POSITION
The Core Fixed Income Team is seeking a credit analyst to join our team, which manages $35 billion in assets with a 35-year track record of consistent outperformance. The analyst role will focus on supporting the team's fundamental and relative value analysis across a variety of potential sectors within investment grade credit markets, working with traders and portfolio managers in order to identify investment ideas and performance opportunities. This role offers a career path of growth with the long-term goal of ultimately becoming a sector specialist with portfolio management responsibilities.
We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to conduct bottom-up fundamental research and identify key drivers when conducting company, industry, collateral or structural analysis

SUMMARY:
Position will be responsible for maximizing cash receipts enabling continued sales growth. Working with internal business units to manage and identify potential risks of current and future customers both domestic and international.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties of the Credit Analyst include but are not limited to, managing the receivables on assigned accounts. This includes the following roles:
- Collection and maintenance of assigned accounts.
- Evaluate, recommend, and manage credit exposures.
- Set up and maintain customer master records including new accounts and change of ownerships.
- Working with customer and business units to resolve/reconcile short-pays, pricing claims, and other miscellaneous deductions/disputes.
- Provide management with the defined reports and metrics as requested.
- Work with customers, schedulers, and billings to resolve any issues that may delay payments. This would include past due accounts, slow payment trends, disputed claims, etc.
- Identify accounts for escalation and monitor status throughout the escalation process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve claims, short-pays, and charge backs on assigned accounts.
- Review application of payments and submit change(s) required to maintain current and accurate account balances.
- Application of credit memos to related open items on customers account.
- Perform activities related to month end closing, such as bad debt write-offs and reporting to management and/or business units.
- Recommend action plan for delinquent accounts.
- Document all activities and communication relating to customer accounts. Maintain high level of customer confidentiality at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Conduct comprehensive credit risk profiling and ensure compliance with SOX and internal policies.
- Evaluate credit applications, recommend credit limits and payment terms, and enforce adherence to company credit policies.
- Approve credit limits and release customer orders within Delegation of Authority thresholds.
- Collaborate with collections and AR teams to resolve delinquent accounts and credit holds.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, SAP (ECC Production or S/4HANA), and Get Paid for credit analysis, reporting, and workflow execution.
- Apply knowledge of trade industry practices (e.g., liens, bonds, UCC filings, bankruptcy claims) to assess and manage credit risk exposure.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a credit, collections, or finance role within an industrial business setting.
- Hands-on experience with Order-to-Cash processes, including cash application and collection analysis.
- SAP experience required (ECC Production or S/4HANA); SAP Ariba not applicable.
- Proficiency with global credit bureau tools (e.g., D&B, Cortera, Credit Risk Monitor).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
- Previous experience in construction, water, or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with Get Paid platform.
- Understanding of trade credit instruments such as bonds, liens, and UCC filings.
