As a Senior Cryptocurrency Intelligence Analyst, you will leverage open source and commercial software tools to review, assess and collect data from a disparate list of open and closed web sources, including (but not limited to) news publications, blogs, social media platforms, paste sites, government websites, forums, and onion sites.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Intelligence Gathering and Assessment

-Evaluating Internet information from social media, chats, forums, darknet, TOR network, news feeds, internet relay chats and other sources of data openly available on the Internet

-Analyze datafrom these various sources andidentify investigative opportunities and intelligenceto support the many investigative

Internet Analyst Tools

  • Strong experience withcrypto currency tracingand experienceworking with law enforcementto understand how bad actors navigate in open-source platforms and well as the Dark Web.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with identifying and analyzing Virtual Currency or Cryptocurrency transactions through dark web sources.

  • Experience in using cyber intelligence tools and software tools to actively search and mine the publicly available Internet and the

  • Advanced understanding of the methods used by cyber-criminals to hide themselves on the Internet, how the cyber-criminals conduct online business and what are the various marketplaces and forums the cyber-criminals operate within

  • Strong communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, cyber or related discipline is preferred, but not necessary.

  • 3+ years ofblockchain, mixers, tumblers, crypto tracing, money laundering techniques

  • 7-10+ years of related experience supporting intelligence operations pertaining to cybercrimes, cryptocurrency, and dark web

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures for cryptocurrency operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee and enhance Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) programs.
  • Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and conduct investigations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of AML, KYC, and other financial regulations.
  • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and associated risks.
