Our Marketing team leads, develops, and executes PowerSchool's global marketing initiatives. Responsible for brand, corporate communications, demand-generation, and solution marketing, the team works across all major marketing functions to drive alignment of the organization's messages across all channels to ensure we meet our sales targets.

The Marketing Analytics Analyst is responsible for generating marketing analytics, data-based insights, predictive modeling, and the application of analytic findings to strategy for the entire Marketing organization as part of the Marketing Analytics team. This position contributes to the creation of fact-based analysis of historical performance and the creation of insights to fuel future growth.

  • Be the go-to source for marketing intelligence, always bringing insights rather than data to drive future growth, customer success, and marketing effectiveness
  • Deliver strategic and tactical performance reporting and analytics standards for marketing activities (events, campaigns, customer advocacy, etc.)
  • Automate and streamline the production of reports so that teams can self-serve data, reporting, and insights
  • Create insightful visualizations in Domo dashboards (Business Intelligence tool)
  • Contribute to enhancing data capture requirements for improved reporting effectiveness
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience developing and leading analytics processes and capabilities for the marketing function within a medium to large corporate enterprise, Preferably B2B
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills to develop insights gained from the reports and dashboards
  • Effective cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Advanced Salesforce/CRM analytics experience is required, other nice to haves are: Marketo, DOMO, Snowflake
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and business judgment
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, marketing or economics or equivalent relevant experience

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $83,000 - $110,300 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.

Joining Collibra's Go-to-Market Operations team
  • Collibra is looking for an experienced, data-driven Marketing Analytics Manager in its Go-To-Market Operations team to support the Marketing team.
  • This person will report to the Senior Director, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics and will work alongside a talented team of data and BI specialists.
  • The analytics team works with the rest of the marketing organization and cross functional partners to provide insight-laden reporting, analytics and data models that drive business value for both our digital channels as well as our B2B marketing and sales funnel.
  • This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. Our hybrid model means you'll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

Marketing Analytics Managers at Collibra are responsible for
  • Building, maintaining, and updating Marketing dashboards in Tableau to help measure business performance
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on campaign planning (targeting, strategy, objectives, and measurement) to set clear and measurable objectives
  • Analyzing Marketing KPIs to assess campaign and program effectiveness as it relates to the company's Marketing Mix
  • Presenting findings and actionable recommendations to the leadership team
  • Monitoring the Demand Waterfall/lead funnel to track lead flow and conversions, as well as performing routine diagnostics to identify breakdowns

You have
  • 4+ years experience working in Marketing Analytics
  • Experience with web analytics reporting (GA4) and reporting from digital ad platforms (LinkedIn, Google, Bing)
  • An understanding of core Marketing processes and metrics (Marketing automation, lead routing & management, sales funnel, pipeline attribution, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Tableau
  • Fundamental SQL skills with ETL familiarity
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required

Compensation for this role

The standard base salary range for this position is $116,000 to $145,000per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

As a senior data scientist within Global Insights & Analytics, you will be responsible for Visa’s product and marketing data, insights, and analysis ecosystem. You will use data sourced from Visa’s internal systems, CRM systems, and from native systems of other marketing channels such as email, digital, social, search, programmatic, partners, and events.

You will contribute to insight extraction and data visualization work streams that will be shared across Visa’s marketing and product organizations at all levels and geographies. You will work closely with technology teams to transform business and data insight delivery and integration to a new level, improving the marketing organization’s ability to track and optimize performance. A successful candidate will have experience evaluating media campaign performance and driving actionable insights to help influence later initiatives.

Most of your time will be spent assisting the analytics team on driving dashboard updates and organizing task timelines, along with the opportunity to plug into campaign planning and execution life cycle. You will be working on analysis and diagnosis of marketing performance. You will monitor trends in KPIs and performance drivers and translate those data into actionable insights and recommendations. You will work closely with the marketing team to increase understanding of what works and what does not work in Visa’s marketing, with a strong point of view on how strategies should evolve going forward.

Essential Functions

  • You will support performance reporting and marketing intelligence for the marketing organization.
  • You will bring consistency to reporting by leading rigorous data processes to aid in the automation of KPI reporting, dashboards, and other ad hoc reports.
  • You will focus on improving operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, and improve existing processes.
  • You will stay abreast of best practices in B2C/B2B marketing and new applications. You will advise on the ideal ways and hacks to track and measure campaign performance.
  • You will act as an agency point on contact to ensure seamless and timely media data collection and reporting.
  • You will collect Visa internal and industry benchmarks to add context to analysis.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about using data to help drive decisions within a high growth / global marketing team.

Basic
• 2-4 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA)
• You have prior experience working in marketing analytics with a track record of success.
• 1-2 years of experience using SQL/Hive etc. with large data sets to support analysis
• 1-2 years of experience working with reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Datorama, Google DataStudio etc.
• Superb organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred
• 4+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA)
• Experience analyzing data related to marketing activities such as content creation, events such as trade shows & conferences, Webinars, partner led marketing, CRM through email, media campaigns etc.
• Prior media activation / advertising experience (social and digital), preferably within the B2B space or product marketing data management and analytics experience
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
• Strong collaboration and communication skills – demonstrating the ability to partner effectively with different business partners, both internally (i.e., Regions, Product Org) and externally (i.e., Agency Partners).
