Insight Global is seeking a Billing & Data Customer Specialist to join a leading Veterinary Services
company located in the Greater Portland area. This role will be joining the Business Services &
Subscription team; the role is a unique combination of bookkeeping and customer service. This
team is part of the Customer Success Virtual Operations division, a dynamic team that is focusing
on improving the customer experience across all Veterinary Software billing functions.
In this role, you will participate in the groups data audit as part of their global billing transition into
SAP. This includes cross-referencing customer invoices across the system for tracking of accuracy.
With over 10,000 customers, this team has a large backlog, so it is imperative this individual is
sharp, has worked with data entry, accounting, or bookkeeping, and is organized. Additionally, this
person will occasionally respond in a professional manner to emails and phone calls from
customers inquiring about their invoices.
Compensation will be $20 - $25/hr, based on prior experience, education, and other intangibles.

As our Customer Billing Specialist, you'll be the engine behind our daily invoicing operations. You'll work cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, customer support, and finance to ensure every invoice is accurate, timely, and aligned with our high standards.
Your Day-to-Day:
+ Generate and process invoices for customer orders and co-manufacturer sales (raw materials & packaging)
+ Reconcile shipment data using EDI 945s, BOLs, and delivery confirmations from 3PLs
+ Resolve discrepancies between ordered and shipped quantities before invoicing
+ Ensure pricing, discounts, and units of measure are correctly applied in our ERP system (Business Central)
+ Transmit invoices via SPS Commerce (EDI) and ERP email workflows
+ Validate customer/item setup and report errors to Data Services
+ Collaborate with procurement, customer support, and finance to close month-end billing

What You Bring
+ 3+ years in customer billing, order entry, or invoice processing (1-2 years OK with BA degree)
