**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking Arterial Operators based in the Bradenton Area.
Arterial Operators are responsible for monitoring the state arterial roadways in the areas covered by FDOT District 1 and possess a strong familiarity of the District's arterial network. There are 1st and 2nd shift opportunities.
Among other tasks, Arterial Operators' responsibilities include:
+ The Arterial Operators are responsible for the direct monitoring of arterial performance, discovery of operational issues and the reporting of such issues to the arterial operations engineer, local maintaining agency, maintenance contractor or construction contractor as appropriate. The Arterial Operators are stationed within the STMC, interacting with freeway team to ultimately provide a seamless oversight of the District's arterial roadway facilities.
+ Monitors the status of traffic signal and system operations, arterial corridor congestion, traffic flow, etc. by technology tools, including advanced traffic management systems, travel time monitoring, and CCTV cameras.
+ Identifies traffic congestion along the arterial network, based on pre-defined performance measures, then developing and implementing traffic mitigation measures in a timely manner.
+ Entering all scheduled and unscheduled events, congestion and detour routes into SunGuide software and disseminating information using ITS devices, associated applications, websites, and Florida 511 (FL511) system, including for major incidents reported to the TMC outside the Arterial coverage area defined under section 4.2.5, in accordance with District 1 TMC Operations SOP.
+ Detects, confirms and track equipment faults affecting arterial operations and coordinate with IT Consultants, contractors and maintaining agencies as and when needed to resolve the issues.
+ Manage arterial operations in accordance with the District 1 TMC Operations SOP.
+ Detect, confirm, update, and respond to scheduled and unscheduled traffic and incident management events on the arterial network, congestion, and travel time imbalances in the geographical coverage area.
+ Enter all scheduled and unscheduled events and congestion into SunGuide software.
+ Coordinate with other Control Room staff, law enforcement, and external agencies in response to incidents.
+ Coordinate with Arterial Operations Engineers to adjust signal timing as and when needed in response to scheduled and unscheduled events.
+ Continuously monitor signal and system operation through CCTV cameras, Central Signal System Applications, real-time traffic data applications/websites to proactively identify intersection/signal operation issues rather than reactive after complaints received from others, and coordinate signal operation changes with the arterial operations engineers to improve operation and safety at signalized intersections and coordinated signal systems.
+ Detect, confirm, and report equipment faults affecting Control Room equipment and field equipment, including equipment maintained by the signal maintaining agency.
+ Perform daily Arterial ITS infrastructure checks (CCTVs, DMS, MVDS, Video Wall, etc.) early in the mornings and open IT/ITS device failure tickets for malfunctions detected during the check.
+ Perform FREEWAY Operator duties in accordance with Section 4.2.4 as well per District 1 TMC Operations SOP, as and when needed.
+ Coordinate with maintenance staff and signal maintaining agency staff as needed.
+ Follow FDOT District 1 TMC Operations SOP, policies, procedures, guidelines, and preferences.
+ All other tasks assigned by the Department.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods while monitoring Intelligent Transportation Systems such as CCTV camera displays, ramp meters, law enforcement radio broadcasts, answering/responding to calls, and communicating with other staff or partnering agencies.
+ Ability to operate software platforms and web-based applications.
+ Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check; must also successfully pass FDOT fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check
+ Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience working in a call center, customer service, 911 Operator, or dispatching environment
+ Demonstrate ability to meet a high level of customer service expectations
+ Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
+ Previous experience working in a position that includes heavy telephone, radio, and computer usage
+ Effective oral and written communications skills for in-person, radio, and phone conversations
+ Knowledge of the SunGuide Software and related systems
+ Knowledge of Traffic Signal Central System applications to review, identify and disseminate signal operation issues
+ Ability to interpret or understand geographic information portrayed on a map and map-based applications
+ Knowledge of interstates and state routes throughout Florida with geographic familiarity with the freeway system and arterial roadway
+ Efficient and accurate data entry skills

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $22.00/hour - $5.00/hour.

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking Freeway Operators who are responsible for the principal monitoring of the freeway management systems (FMS) and must possess strong familiarity of the District's freeway system. All TMC Operators shall be familiar with both freeway and arterial related ITS applications. There are 1st and 2nd shift opportunities.
Among other tasks, Freeways Operators' responsibilities include:
+ Monitoring the status of freeway using CCTV, Road Ranger Service Patrols, detector data, etc. to include detecting, confirming, updating, and responding to scheduled and unscheduled traffic and incident management events, congestion, and travel time imbalances in the geographical coverage area.
+ Entering all scheduled and unscheduled events and congestion into SunGuide software and disseminate information using ITS devices, website, and Florida 511 (FL511) system.
+ Coordinating with other Control Room staff, law enforcement, and external agencies in response to incidents.
+ Coordinating with other operations staff concerning external agency communications and general operations room coordination, and other operations room staff from other agencies to obtain a full understanding of all operations room activity status.
+ Dispatching Road Ranger Service Patrols to motorists, events, and to assist law enforcement in a timely and efficient manner. Log all activities into the SunGuide database and ensure the quality of information is complete and concise.
+ Managing Wrong Way Driver events.
+ Detecting, confirming, and reporting equipment faults affecting Control Room equipment (e.g., central system, computers, CCTV monitors, and large screen display units) and TMC system field equipment (e.g., CCTV, VDS, DMS, RSU etc.).
+ Monitor and manage arterial operations in accordance with Section 4.2.5 and District 1 TMC Operations SOP, outside the operational hours of the STMC and coordinate any signal operational changes through the on-call Signal Operations Engineer.
+ Performing daily ITS infrastructure checks (CCTVs, DMS, MVDS, RSUs Video Walls, etc.) during the morning shift and opening ITS device failure tickets for malfunctions detected during the check.
+ Coordinating with maintenance staff as needed.
+ Following FDOT District 1 policies and procedures, including the District 1 TMC Operations SOP.
+ Following time requirements in the District 1 TMC Operations SOP for event confirmation, RRSP/RISC dispatching, DMS message posting, FL511 system update, etc.
+ Posting detour routes in FL511.
+ Carrying out all tasks as detailed in the District 1 TMC Operations SOP.
+ Assist with report data collection to include in all required periodic reports, travel speed and travel time reports, incident reports and any other reports that are requested by the DEPARTMENT.
+ Assists in Sunguide configuration changes such as reference points, contact groups, and others per District 1 TMC Operations SOP.
+ Responsible for producing periodic operations reports, performance measures, Truck Parking Availability Systems (TPAS), Wrong Way Driver Detection Systems, QA/QC of Sunguide data, focused attention on OTM system, smart work zone and others as assigned.
+ Responsible for producing even chronologies, timestamp sheets, incident images and other materials to assist with after-action reviews on major incidents (RISC, MIE etc.)
+ Coordinate with FDOT and/or FHP and dispatch the proper Rapid Incident Scene Clearance (RISC) Vendor to major events and other activities that require their service in a timely and efficient manner. Log all activities and timestamps into the SunGuide database and ensure the quality of information is complete and concise. This includes updating the RISC Vendor rotation list.
+ Managing events and congestion using the SunGuide GUI and its devices, both electronic (e.g., website server, incident detection algorithms) and in the field (e.g., vehicle detection stations, CCTV cameras, DMS, etc.).
+ Inform Emergency Services on Traffic Events - The RTMC/STMC Operators will assist the RTMC/STMC Shift Supervisor informing Emergency Services of traffic incidents in the geographical coverage area of the RTMC/STMC. These events vary in their scope and the methods on how the operator responds notifying FHP, Road Ranger, local police, fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) etc.
+ All other tasks assigned by the Department.

The Collections/Client Relations Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing the collection of outstanding accounts receivable. This role ensures timely payments from clients, maintains accurate records, and works closely with internal departments to resolve billing issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persistent, and possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collection of payments.
+ Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence regarding overdue accounts.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to billing and payments.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and collection notes.
+ Collaborate with the billing team to ensure invoices are issued correctly and on time.
+ Partner closely with the Cash Application team to ensure accurate posting of payments and resolution of unapplied or misapplied funds.
+ Prepare and distribute aging reports and collection status updates to management.
+ Escalate unresolved or high-risk accounts to Finance leadership with clear documentation and recommendations.
+ Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent service while maintaining firm collection practices.
+ Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Partners and client teams, to ensure adherence to payment terms and company policies, and address any requests for exceptions with appropriate scrutiny and escalation when necessary.
**ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Perform other collections responsibilities and special projects, as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):**
**Education:**
+ Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
**Experience:**
+ 5+ years of collections experience in a law firm (preferred) or other professional services organization.
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:**
+ 3E and ARCS 3G experience a plus.
+ Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail; high level of accuracy a must.
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task with a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
+ Professional communication skills, ability to speak clearly, confidently, and respectfully with clients, attorneys, and business professionals.
