To provide customers with the highest quality service by providing consistent customer service and resolution in order to ensure timely release and/or inbound or outbound movement of freight/cargo
Provide impeccable customer service.
Prepare, analyze, and/or submit documentation to the appropriate parties (U.S. Customs, agents, clients) in order to ensure they are in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to customs.
Anticipate, identify, and resolve problems which could delay the timely release or movement of freight.
Maintain relationships with correspondent brokers, T&B, and other service providers to ensure that agents exceed the customers' service requirements.
Resolve banking and letter of credit problems.
Advise customers on payment terms.
Obtain payment on delinquent accounts and/or complete accounting adjustment forms for review.
Resolve billing issues, coordinate post entry activity on customer's behalf.
Complete accurate data input or corrections into computer files.
Perform route cause analysis as directed by the Account Administrator.
Coordinate post-entry activities on the customer's behalf.
Manage the entry verification process.
Access clients systems (external systems) as necessary.
Correspond with business partners in various mediums to include written, phone or e-mail.
Produce operational trend reports.
Keep business partners apprised of the exception process.
Pre alerts - receive and respond as needed per customer SOP.
Maintain general knowledge of FedEx products and services.

HS Diploma or GED required. 6 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience preferred. MS Office, Outlook, Office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner) required.

Handle high volume of work. Handle time sensitive work. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Detail oriented. Knowledge in HTS classification & familiar with the harmonized tariff system. Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations & other federal regulations and requirements with respect to specific area of expertise. Paid Training Provided.
Preferred Qualifications: Location: This role is Hybrid for now with more full time/in office work required later based on company policy. Shift Information: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: Total Base Pay Range 13.63 - 21.59 USD Hourly.

This person validates and processes commercial documentation for presentation of entry release request to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Responsibilities
- Ensure that shipment files contain the proper documentation such as: Commercial invoices, packing list, manifests, PGA documentation, Free Trade Agreement declarations, etc.
- Review the content of these documents to make sure there is no missing information required to rate shipment, such as: country of origin, additions, deductions, etc.
- Process missing information request and return file to Client Representative for follow up
- Establish the value for duty of the shipment (applying valuation adjustments as required, etc.)
- Determine suggested Tariff Treatment
- Identify the proper classification code for each imported good
- Ensure compliance with all ACE reporting elements
- Ensure that urgent files are processed and daily workflow is completed / allocated
- Support PAPS call center
- Perform other general clerical duties as necessary
- Completion of vocational or technical degree
- At least 3 years customs brokerage experience

The Entry Processor plays a critical role in managing the end to end transmission of import entries, ensuring full compliance with US CBP regulations and all applicable PGAs. This position demands exceptional accuracy and a service first mindset to facilitate the timely Customs and PGA release. The Entry Processor serves as a key point of contact for clients, outside forwarders, carriers and internal DHL product teams, resolving issues and maintaining service level expectations through proactive communication and process management.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and transmit all required shipment, Customs, and PGA data into the brokerage system
- Review and assess import documents to verify critical data elements for accuracy and completeness
- Identify and resolve Customs or PGA holds, entry discrepancies, and documentation issues promptly
- Provide entry status updates and resolve any processing delays in a timely manner
- Meet service level requirements in accordance with the client SOP
- Proactively work with Customs and PGA authorities to resolve entry issues
- Determine HTS codes based on client SOPs, the Parts Database, and guidance from management.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant Customs laws, import regulations, and trade agreements
- Coordinate dispatch services when necessary
- Ensure A/R accuracy at both file and account levels to support correct client billing
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in Customs brokerage entry processing or a related Customs focused role, with recent hands on entry processing experience (preferably post ACE)
- Knowledge of Customs regulations, HTS classifications, and PGA requirements
- Understanding of import procedures, Customs clearance processes, and trade regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and regulatory authorities
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
