Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedTrade Compliance Lead to join our US Trade Compliance team in Billerica, MA. This role is essential in ensuring Entegris' global trade operations comply with U.S. and international regulations. You will be responsible for managing import/export classifications, supporting our Trade Compliance Training Program, and overseeing compliance holds in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS).
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Chemists, and Scientists to determine and maintain ECCN, HTS, and country of origin data in SAP, GTS, and other systems.
Manage and audit Trade Compliance master data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Drive process improvements for classification data across SAP, GTS, and related platforms.
Maintain Agile Point workflow requests to support business requirements.
Deliver training to internal teams on trade compliance regulations, procedures, and best practices.
Develop and implement training programs to ensure ongoing compliance and awareness.
Ensure export activities comply with OFAC, EAR, ITAR, DEA, FDA, and other applicable regulations.
Partner with the ITAR Empowered Official to support regulatory obligations.
Monitor regulatory changes and updates (e.g., Federal Register) and implement necessary adjustments.
Support additional compliance initiatives and projects as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: 5+ years in International Trade compliance or a Bachelor's degree in International business, trade, or a related field.
Expertise: Strong experience with commodity classifications, U.S. export/import regulations (EAR, ITAR, DEA, FDA).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, GTS, and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with AgilePoint is a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Experience with semiconductor components and chemical classifications is highly desirable.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex information clearly.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

1) Export Controls

1b) Regularly assess risks in the export process, identiying potential areas of non-compliance and implementing controls and mitigation strategies.

1d) Determine jurisdiction, classification, and licensing requirements for exports. Implement screening procedures to ensure compliance.

2) Sanctions & Embargoes Compliance
2a) Develop and implement a robust global sanctions control programme, ensuring compliance across all countries where Grifols operates in line with economic and trade sanctions imposed by governments and intenational bodies (e.g. OFAC, UN, EU).
2b) Conduct, and regularly update, a thorough risk assessment to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
2c) Advise Grifols senior management on relevant sanctions compliance issues and report any non-compliance matters to the senior management and/or the governing bodies.
2d) Develop and implement internal controls, including written policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
2e) Provide ongoing training to employees on compliance requirements and procedures.

This role will be the first dedicated Compliance hire at CHAOS and set the foundation for a strong compliance organization as we grow. This is a hybrid reporting onsite three days a week at our Glendale, WI location with the a bility to travel 20%. Clarios is seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager of Trade Compliance to lead import/export compliance across the US and Canada. This role ensures adherence to all applicable trade laws and regulations, including CBP and CBSA requirements. You'll drive compliance programs, manage key processes such as Reconciliation, Duty Drawback, CTPAT, Denied Party Screening, and trade agreement qualifications (e.g., USMCA), and lead responses to audits and government inquiries. In this role, youll partner cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, legal, procurement, and finance teams to assess risk, implement controls, and continuously improve our trade compliance operations.
How you will do it -
Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with CBP and global regulatory requirements.
Oversee daily import/export operations, including classification, valuation, country of origin, and denied party screening; manage direct reports and workload priorities.
Interface with Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant trade activities.
Lead internal audits and risk assessments for import/export filings, valuation methods, and trade compliance gaps; implement corrective actions as needed.
Monitor regulatory changes and drive updates to company procedures, while managing recordkeeping and reporting in line with Customs and company policies.
Train and support cross-functional teams and lead regional trade compliance professionals to ensure compliance awareness and operational alignment.
What we look for -

Bachelors degree in international business, supply chain, or other related disciplines preferred.
Experience working with USMCA Trade Agreements, Reconciliation, CTPAT
At least 7+ years of trade compliance or trade operations related work experience required, preferably in a multinational corporate environment,
An understanding of import/customs laws and regulations and export control/sanctions as it relates to global trade management is preferred.
Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is a plus.

Role Summary:
This individual will serve as a critical stop-gap, immediately alleviating the urgent operational workload associated with international parts imports and ensuring continuity until our full-time Trade Compliance Manager is onboarded. Responsibilities (Key Contributions):
- HTS Classification & Facilitation: Perform Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Code determination and facilitate classification requests with external providers for parts and prototypes.
- Resolve Shipment Blockers: Proactively manage and resolve customs-related issues, including responding to inquiries regarding Government Agencies like FDA, NHTSA, and EPA-VNE.
- Supplier & Broker Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for suppliers and customs brokers to obtain necessary documentation (e.g., HAWB, Arrival Notices) and ensure timely customs clearance.
