**JOB SUMMARY:** **Die cutting operators must Perform manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance and operations of the Bobst Die Cutter. Responsible for the safety of crew, quantitative and qualitative die cutter performance.** They must understand and align business operations and cutting department as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives.
**JOB FUNCTIONS:** _Job functions include, but are not limited to the following._

+ Examine job order to determine quantity to be cut, stock specifications and special die cutting instructions
+ Examine cutting dies for visual defects and apply correcting solution to repair minor defects
+ Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality
+ Ensure information is communicated between shifts
+ Ensure Company Safety, Quality and Production standards are met
+ Perform proper and required maintenance as well as cleaning of Die Cutter
+ Maintenance duties include stooping under machinery, entering confined spaces and climbing ladders.
+ Must input information into computer for proper tracking of inventory and waste.
+ Occasional bending, reaching, twisting and stooping
+ Occasional squatting and kneeling for cleaning and clearing jams
**BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:**
+ Manufacturing experience preferred
+ Experience working in a medium to large format is preferred
+ 1-3 years running a BOBST Die Cutter is strongly preferred
+ Strong Mechanical aptitude/skills
+ Requires experience running, troubleshooting and quality control
+ Ability to work under minimal supervision, understand technical written (and verbal) instructions, set-up the die cutter, and carry out instructions
+ Strong computer skills required
+ Strong math skills required
+ Ability to accurately distinguish color variation
+ Must be able to work other shifts if needed and perform overtime work as required

**SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Schedules are up to 8 or 12-hour shifts on alternate days with rotating weekends off. However, employees must have the ability to work alternate schedules and overtime that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
+ Some Departments/Jobs may run a M-F 8-hour Shift Schedule.
+ Must be willing and able to work overtime.

+ Experienced in duties of qualified Sheet Fed Cutting Operator, especially make readies, operation and ability to trouble shoot
+ Experienced on cutting machinery similar or same as Sheet fed cutting equipment such as: Bobst 162 CER, Bobst 1600 ER, Bobst 103, and Bobst 126-BMA
+ Check job against approved size and style supplied by the customer and management
+ Ensure tooling for next job is in staging area
+ Proper press maintenance and lubrication
+ Moves around Cutting Operators to keep all presses adequately staffed per production needs
+ Check pallets out of press and pull samples from each position
+ Assist Cutting Operators in make ready and preventive maintenance activities
+ Keeps daily time and materials usage reports and records information in PEAK
+ Disassembles machines to perform minor repairs or replace broken or worn parts, using hand tools
+ Order tools and rules (such as knives, dies, counter plates, blanking or stripping toolings)

**BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:**
+ Manufacturing experience preferred

Details : We're looking for a full-time Concrete Cutting Operator to join our Louisiana branch.

• Perform a variety of concrete cutting and core drilling projects.
• Maintain equipment and ensure that all tools are being used safely.
• Complete all preparation and clean up responsibilities before and after project completion.

Requirements:

• Drug Screen (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical (Required)
• 1+ year of concrete cutting experience (Preferred)
• Maintain a positive and responsible work environment
• Ability to follow processes, be organized and punctual
• Motivated to be self-starter with the ability to also work in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate, or be willing to learn to operate wall saws, core drills, flat saws, hand tools, and power tools.
• Maintain equipment and ensure that all tools are being used safely.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Manage workflow to meet changing priorities
• Effectively use the daily documentation software
