The Production Technician is an essential member of the Nanak’s food processing operation and is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting dairy processing equipment with a focus on instrumentation, automation, and HMI systems. Ensures efficient and safe food processing in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment using HMI systems and automated controls.Perform operational adjustments and troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation issues.Calibrate and verify instrumentation (sensors, valves, temperature/flow devices).Monitor process parameters and product quality; make real-time adjustments.Ensure safety systems and interlocks are functioning correctly.Maintain accurate production and troubleshooting logs.Follow GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.RequirementsFluent in HMI systems and automated control interfaces.Strong understanding of instrumentation and process automation.Technical diploma or equivalent experience in industrial automation or food processing.1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or similar environment.Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills.Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in high-paced, hot/cold environments.Possesses an HTST license or is able to obtain one as required.

This new facility represents Walmart's commitment to building a more resilient and transparent supply chain, sourcing high-quality milk primarily from Texas dairy farmers to serve more than 750 Walmart stores and Sam's Clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our Fuild Milk Plant operations in Robinson, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring compliance with Walmart's code of conduct, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and food safety regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Manage and lead a team of production staff to achieve plant goals and objectives during their production shift.

Until the facility is fully operational, the regular work hours will be Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm. However, please keep in mind that you will need to be flexible to work outside of regular work hours, including weekends, until the facility is running at full capacity.

Required:

  • 3 or more years of experience working in a food manufacturing plant preferred.

  • Forklift operating experience is preferred.

  • Candidates must possess solid mechanical skills and the ability to understand, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment.

  • Must be able and willing to work all shifts and overtime, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Must be able and willing to work in a wet environment with moderate to high noise volume.

  • Must be able and willing to effectively work in a team environment.

  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.

Monitors dairy plant production processes for example milk receiving separation standardization pasteurization batching by following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices GMPs ensuring all paperwork is accurate verifying all charts including frequency pen cut incut out temperatures and product recording temperatures troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating difficulties and communicating any problems or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production or food safety concerns to managementFollows required safety practices by observing confined space safety guidelines wearing all required personal protection equipment in designated areas ensuring safe chemical handling and fall restraints are monitored maintaining sanitation of equipment CIP and hand cleaning and reporting safety concerns or issues to leadershipSupports Continuous Improvement throughout the plant by maintaining process data and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput operating and cleaning equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime communicating mechanical and operational issues operating equipment at recommended speeds and monitoring fats total solids allergens and cryoscopes as they associate with processing dairy products to ensure quality and efficiencies are met Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices
