They will be responsible for coordinating and managing the creation, definition, methodology, and calculation of pro-active PSPS data quality improvement efforts through the facilitation of workshops with stakeholders, operational subject matter experts and other functions. This position will execute data quality effort projects that have been identified through the PSPS Data Steward or operational needs Lastly the data analyst will support data quality assurance and quality control in coordination with data governance framework of standards, policies, and requirements with accountability and metrics to ensure the access, availability, usability, integrity, security, and regulatory compliance of the company's data. Responsibilities

Improves the delivery of analytical support to an Operating Unit and/or the enterprise, enhancing the collection, analysis and reporting of data, which enables successful completion of key business operations projects.

Provides advice to stakeholders, presenting analytical findings and making recommendations as to their impact on business operations.

Identifies and improves operational processes and procedures, from maintenance to development of reporting dashboards, to streamline business practice and improve efficiency.

Collects and analyzes data in order to present findings and make recommendations.

Develops models to help inform decision-making on emerging technology investments.

Improves the development of business plan scenarios to evaluate different priorities and potential options to achieving the operating unit and/or enterprise objectives.

Verifies that established processes are aligned with relevant rules, principles, laws, and industry standards with the goal to safeguard assets, minimize errors, and ensure operational activities are performed to mitigate risk.

Minimum Qualifications

The Data Engineering Advisor will develop programs using coding languages (i.e. Python, SQL, PROC, R, etc.) to create visualizations or analysis for stakeholders throughout the company. **Responsibilities**
+ Manages and scales data pipelines from internal and external data sources to support new product launches and drive data quality across data products
+ Facilitates data engineering activities covering data acquisition, extraction, normalization, transformation, management, and manipulation of large and complex data sets
+ Keep abreast of new and current data engineering, big data and data science techniques. Research methods, techniques, and new practices; develop and promote data engineering best practices, standards and guidelines
