Business Intelligence Analyst

At DVFG, we're looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who's ready to dive into data transformation, streamline reporting, and create impactful Tableau dashboards that illuminate key business metrics. The position is working on site at our Sewell, NJ Location.

Reporting & Analysis
Access and analyze data from various departments to develop automated, easy-to-understand reports and ad hoc analyses that answer business questions, identify patterns and highlight key operational metrics.
Continuously review and enhance existing reports to improve efficiency, usability, and accuracy.
Ensure data integrity by validating report results and collaborating to resolve discrepancies.
Data Transformation & Process Development
Support data transformation projects, with a focus on automation and standardization of data flows and reporting.
Contribute to the development, implementation, testing, documentation and validation of reporting processes that support KPIs and other metrics.
Documentation & Organization
Organize and catalog data dictionary and reports, ensuring clear documentation and accessibility for stakeholders.
Dashboard & Visualization Support
Assist in creating self-service dashboards to organize data, enhance storytelling and facilitate better decision-making.
Troubleshooting & Improvement
Troubleshoot reporting issues and activate improvements.
Physical Demands:
This is an office-based position with extended periods of computer use. Occasional travel to warehouse or distribution facilities, including overnight stays, may be required. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in analytics, data science, or quantitative roles
- Minimum of 2 years' experience using Tableau for data visualization
- Strong proficiency in data analysis using SQL in a cloud environment with Snowflake
- Proven experience creating interactive dashboards and visualizations based on KPI definitions and dashboard designs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) for data engineering
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to initiate and drive projects; ability to work independently and in a team
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time pressures.
