**Responsibilities:**
GENERAL PURPOSE
Develops and improves methods of data collection, analysis, and reporting. Leads and determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for customer needs or issues. Partners directly with a department or school to identify analytical requirements. Collects data requirements, determines technical issues, and develops ad-hoc reports. Handles special analytical projects as needed. Performs and interprets data studies. Develops predictive models, data mining and custom analysis. Oversees a team of data analytic professionals.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Identifies, analyzes, interprets, and presents data trends, patterns, and results. Performs deep-dive analysis using statistical techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. Drives key projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
+ Interacts with stakeholders across departments to create, manage, and track important trends and events impacting the business. Serves as a liaison between the data analysis team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Collaborates with senior leadership to identify data-driven opportunities and support strategic decision-making processes.
+ Develops and implements advanced data analysis methodologies to support research projects, clinical studies, and/or operational initiatives. Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data by establishing robust data quality control measures. Generates comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
+ Leads and mentors staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities. Oversees the day-to-day operations of data analysis, ensuring efficient workflows and timely project completion. Fosters a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and solutions.
+ Ensures an effective internal control environment, compliance with organizational policies, and provide support for regular internal and external audits. Ensures all data analysis activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and data security, safeguarding sensitive information.
+ Presents complex data analysis results to non-technical audiences in a clear and understandable manner.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**

**Responsibilities:**
GENERAL PURPOSE
The NICU Data Manager will apply specialized clinical/medical knowledge regarding data definition, coding, and accreditation standards and best practices. Manages multiple Microsoft Access databases to combine data from various internal and external source. Ensures timely, accurate and quality submission of all data registry elements. Prioritize, organize and meet tight deadlines for multiple concurrent tasks and team requests. Develop database structures and features customized to departmental needs. Creation and ongoing monitoring of procedures to ensure data integrity. Prepare and present performance reports to leadership. Identify process improvement efforts and conducts surveys and audits. Designs and manages SharePoint and intranet website. Organize quality reports, review outcomes, and identify process improvements. Develops workflows and priorities for data collection and reporting. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

+ Ensure accurate recording of metrics into Neodata and internal databases which include demographic, maternal, pregnancy, delivery, clinical and outcome variables for NICU patients.
+ Develop and maintain, and modify Microsoft Access queries, as well as VBA macros and Excel pivot tables, queries to ensure efficient data processing and visualization within various dashboards and QI monitoring projects.
+ Extract and analyze data from electronic health record (EPIC/eRecord) as well as other registries.
+ Collaborate with team to understand the scope of project, best data sources, and develop reporting metrics.
+ Conduct chart abstractions including identifying eligible patients, apply definitions, and validating data.
+ Collaborate with and mentor staff at affiliate hospitals.
+ Provide education and training for new and existing staff, clarify registry data definitions, troubleshoot data entry issues and perform data analyses for affiliate NICUs as required.
+ Meet with affiliate registry staff as needed.
+ Directs staff activities in gathering, compiling, and analyzing information.
+ Train new departmental staff on MS access queries and reports as needed. Monitor staff progress towards self and departmental goals and provide further direction as needed.
+ Ensure staff are providing accurate data documentation and reporting through development of audit tools.
+ Engage staff in department projects that advance skills and knowledge.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director, Data Analysis in the Development and Alumni Relations team (DART) within the Stern School of Business. The Assistant Director will build a broad and deep understanding of fundraising metrics to provide DART fundraisers with information that supports the management of prospects through the development cycle, and recommend processes for ensuring that the best prospects are actively managed by front-line fundraisers and direct marketing partners. In partnership with the direct marketing team, the Assistant Director will identify trends and populations to allow for prompt and proactive identification of both opportunities and deficiencies towards greater success. They will also support ongoing prospect management by implementing methods to evaluate portfolio productivity, monitoring fundraiser activity, and helping to ensure the effective and timely capture of relationship management data. They will assist with developing, managing, analyzing, and visualizing fundraising and engagement data for alumni, and perform data analysis, gather requirements, prepare functional and technical specifications, develop business intelligence solutions, and perform testing and validation.
Qualifications
Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ relevant experience of proven experience in data analysis involving large data sets, with a background in development and/or fundraising.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000 to $84,000 . The **Manager Reporting & Data Analysis** manages and coordinates the activities of a regional data analysis and consulting unit to accomplish company objectives through information management. Supports customers in the areas of project management, data analysis and both routine and ad hoc reporting.

**Minimum Requirements:**
Requires BA/BS degree in IT/IS, Business Administration, Mathematics or Statistics and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, and a minimum of 5 years management in developing & executing strategy and staff management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**
+ MBA, MIS, FSA/ASA, CPA preferred.
+ Prior experience in managing direct reports preferred.
+ Experience with SQL, SAS, Python and Tableau and snowflake highly preferred.
+ Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and present analytical data to all levels of management is strongly preferred.

The Mayors Office of Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (OM/WBE) was created to address income inequality across the city and to address the disparity in City contracts awarded to certain ethnic and gender groups and the Citys overall representation in City contracting. OM/WBE is responsible for oversight, policy, interagency coordination, and accountability for the Citys Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE). It serves as a one-stop-shop for M/WBEs interested in doing business with the city and its agencies.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will report to the Deputy Director, Strategic initiatives and Performance Reporting (SIPR) and with wide latitude for independent judgment will perform the following job responsibilities, which include and are not limited to:
- Managing data systems, implementing tools, and ensuring system configurations align with regulatory compliance.
- Extracting, cleaning, normalizing, and assessing a high volume of complex and diverse data sets; develop data analysis strategies, conducting analyses of procurement data and patterns for agencies; translating data into actionable insights. making appropriate recommendations for optimizing M/WBE utilization; and developing performance indicators and track performance to measure impact of current and new policy directives,
- Supporting the Deputy Director in the review and assessment of diverse procurement submissions of agencies, systems and data analysis, and maintaining related records and reports.
- Performing special projects, generating, dashboards, ad hoc reports and analyses as needed, including drafting talking points and presentations for internal and external meetings and reviewing and editing proposals or policies related to the program.
- Performing analytics tasks using agency contracting, including running queries, conducting analyses, and developing reports using statistical and quantitative methods.
- Preparing routine reports and presentations of program performance data graphs/service trends.
- Maintaining and updating existing dashboards as needed using software such as Power BI and assisting in developing new dashboards as needed.
- Representing OM/WBE at interagency meetings and various external meetings and events related to the M/WBE Program.
- Leading team meetings, developing meeting agendas and facilitating productive discussions that support successful program outcomes and goals.
- Developing training materials and conducting training on program updates as needed.
- Creating guidance documents for internal staff and external users detailing updates to queries and reports.
- Spearheading special projects and strategic initiatives around M/WBE program performance reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Legal Data Analyst, you'll apply your tax and accounting expertise in a dynamic, non-traditional setting and help support development of Bloomberg Tax's AI-enabled tools from a data perspective. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to evaluate data quality, test AI performance, and ensure product decisions reflect user needs and expectations. Your analytical thinking, attention to detail, and understanding of practitioner workflows will directly influence the quality and success of our products.
