This job turns data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. More specifically, this job drives and supports all activities related to collecting, analyzing, and reporting on the Organization's key performance indicators including developing dashboards, scorecards, forecasting, trending, tracking results, and executive presentations for the purposes of supporting operational excellence, management intelligence for effective decision-making, and overall tracking of organizational performance. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Work with various internal departments to collect source data, on a regular basis and as needed. Design and build analyses/trending/forecasting reports using Excel or other technology. Publish metrics dashboards and executive presentations. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
+ Develop processes, tools, and templates to enable efficient, accurate, and standardized data analyses and related deliverables; leverages automation to greatest extent possible. Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
+ Ensure consistency and accuracy of information and reporting by identifying issues and fluctuations with core metrics/KPIs, facilitates changes, research questions, participate and/or lead process and data improvement efforts.
+ Contribute to ensuring that all changes to reporting, processes, and procedures are reflected, appropriately documented, and that consistency is maintained for team. Ensure the correct first time /quality review processes are utilized and that changes maintain data integrity control processes.
+ Maintain effective communication with internal organizations, external vendors/partners and internal staff. Structure and present complex subjects in a meaningful and comprehensible manner.
+ Develop work plans to meet deadlines, accurately estimate completion dates and communicate status.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence are preferred but not mandatory.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Domo for data visualization and analytics is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of experience with data analysis, SQL querying, and data reporting.
  • Familiarity with other data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical analysis.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:  

  • Domo: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Domo for data visualization, dashboard creation, and analytics.
  • SQL: Strong proficiency in SQL to query databases, manipulate large datasets, and perform complex data joins and aggregations.
  • Excel: Advanced skills in Excel, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Work with various internal departments to collect source data, on a regular basis and as needed. Design and build analyses/trending/forecasting reports using Excel or other technology. Publish metrics dashboards and executive presentations. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
+ Develop processes, tools, and templates to enable efficient, accurate, and standardized data analyses and related deliverables; leverages automation to greatest extent possible. Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
+ Ensure consistency and accuracy of information and reporting by identifying issues and fluctuations with core metrics/KPIs, facilitates changes, research questions, participate and/or lead process and data improvement efforts.
+ Contribute to ensuring that all changes to reporting, processes, and procedures are reflected, appropriately documented, and that consistency is maintained for team. Ensure the correct first time /quality review processes are utilized and that changes maintain data integrity control processes.
+ Maintain effective communication with internal organizations, external vendors/partners and internal staff. Structure and present complex subjects in a meaningful and comprehensible manner.
+ Develop work plans to meet deadlines, accurately estimate completion dates and communicate status.
+ Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.

  Position Summary You show employees of companies across the USA and Internationally the real value of their benefits package by producing customized, individualized employee benefit statements. The Project Data Analyst will work both independently and within an agile team to produce high-quality Employee Benefit Statements for their clients. As the dedicated Project Manager, you will work closely with the client to provide leadership and guidance throughout the process. By listening to the client, you will design an attractive communication tool that not only conveys the information they want to present, but also reflects their company's brand and culture. Using our project management blueprints you will be responsible for keeping the project on track by meeting deadlines and maintaining contact with the client to discuss expectations and provide encouragement through to project completion.

As the Data Analyst, you will determine what data will be needed to create an effective statement that will show their employees the true value of their total compensation. Using the established department practices and an advanced command of various data skills and logic, you will convert the raw data into an informative and easy to understand product the client will be proud to present to their employees.
  Essential Functions  
  • Demonstrate the safe handling of sensitive information such as income data, retirement programs and balances, insurance elections and coverages, government tax programs, and various other benefits and offerings specific to each employee.
  • Successfully manage multiple clients at various stages of project development.
  • Importing, exporting, data mapping, creating charts and graphs to illustrate various benefits and projections
  • Using Excel and department software, write formulas and perform conditional formatting to transform variable data into personalized ready-to-print statements.
  • Work extensively with client pay and benefits data using Excel and a database
  • Troubleshoot and effectively communicate to the client any discrepancies or inconsistencies related to the design or data.
  • Maintain communication with your clients, via phone and email, in a technically skilled manner with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Quickly assess and analyze problems and develop solutions
  • Print and prepare documents for shipping/mailout

  Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel including the use of various formulas, vlookups, and pivot tables. PowerQuery and macros knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with database management software such as FileMaker. Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience with web site development/management and employee benefits is a plus.
  • The ability to identify a situation or problem and develop a solution using reason and logic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance to clients as to how best present data
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail is a must.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Education & Experience
    • Master's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational/Environmental Health, or a related field.

      • OEH and Health Risk Assessments.
      • DOEHRS and Business Objects (BCS).
  • Technical Proficiency
