What You'll Do:

Translation

What You Bring:

ResponsibilitiesData Specialist Responsibilities
In this role, you will deploy to disaster sites to support FEMA or other government entities in the delivery of disaster recovery programs such as the Public Assistance (PA) program or the FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) Direct Housing program. The Role
Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to develop advanced algorithms and data-driven solutions for complex challenges. In this role, you will develop and implement machine learning, data mining, statistical, and graph-based algorithms to analyze large datasets. You will also be responsible for prototyping and evaluating algorithms, generating reports and visualizations, and translating complex data analysis into actionable recommendations for clients. The position requires you to work with minimal supervision, collaborating closely with technical staff and clients to deliver effective, data-driven solutions.
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
A Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, a Master's degree with 2+ years, or a Ph.D. with 1+ year.
Proficiency with Python and R.
Experience using large datasets to solve problems.
Knowledge of and experience with machine learning, data wrangling, advanced statistical data analysis, and modeling.
AWS or Cloud experience.
The ability to communicate complex concepts in non-technical language.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL) and commercial/open-source data science software is a plus.
