Job Duties:

Base Pay Range: $192,400.00 - $241,800.00

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

You will work with the technology organization and business end-users to understand data and analytics needs and develop technical requirements. You'll make decisions daily to support a team of data scientists and data engineers in solving complex problems across the entire company. You will be accountable for coordinating with IT and OU partners, handling vendor performance, adjusting financial forecasts, and developing resolution plans for risks/issues. You will be instrumental in incorporating analytics solutions into business processes, promoting citizen development in reporting / automation, and facilitating process improvement. You will use data visualization programs, tools and techniques to generate dashboards, reports and presentations that aid in data storytelling, understanding and interpretation of trends and patterns of business importance. Additionally, you will also be supporting the creation of long-term strategic roadmaps to ensure technology investments deliver positive business value and are directly associated with OU goals.
You will also work closely with the Principal Manager and Senior Manager in leading Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence, partnering with OU data science teams to develop analytics projects repository, adopting analytics model risk assessment and documentation standard, promoting technical tools and platforms, and facilitating training and forums.

Job Description

The Data Analyst will support the Aderant software migration and ongoing TimeSolv reporting by cleaning, standardizing, and validating data. They build and maintain reports using Excel, SQL, and SSRS, analyze data to provide insights, and ensure data integrity post-migration. The role collaborates with team leads to meet reporting needs, improves data processes, and documents best practices for long-term data accuracy and usability.

Duties and Responsibilities

•Clean, standardize, and validate data to support the upcoming Aderant software migration and ongoing reporting needs

•Build and maintain custom reports using Excel, SQL, and SSRS

•Analyze data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making

•Monitor data integrity post-migration and troubleshoot discrepancies between systems

•Collaborate with team leads to understand reporting requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions

•Evaluate and improve data collection processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and long-term usability

•Develop and document best practices for data entry, maintenance, and reporting

•Respond to ad hoc data requests and generate reports for leadership as needed
