**What You'll Do:**
You will provide professional-level linguistic support across **translation, interpretation, transcription** , **and** **Gisting** including but not limited to:
**Translation**
+ Accurately translate materials (both digital and hard copy) **from Pashto/Dari into English and vice versa.**
+ Capture subtle nuances, cultural references, and abstract concepts with contextual accuracy.
+ Capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural references effectively.
+ Use **terminology and expression** consistent with subject matter norms in the target language.
**Interpretation**
+ Provide **consecutive interpretation** ; **simultaneous interpretation** may occasionally be required.
+ Maintain high fidelity and fluency, demonstrating understanding of regional dialects and cultural context.
**Transcription**
+ Listen to audio or review internet-based content and transcribe accurately and efficiently.
+ Produce high-quality English-language reports based on audio/visual materials.
+ Demonstrate nuanced understanding of dialectical variations.
**Gisting and Summarization**
+ Identify and summarize key facts and abstract concepts accurately.
+ Prioritize and extract critical information from large datasets.
+ Use reference materials effectively to support quality output.
**What You Bring:**
+ **No clearance required to apply** .
+ **Able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph** (must be fully adjudicated before work begins). Leidos will **sponsor candidates** after passing all the required language tests.
+ **Bachelor's degree with 8 - 12 years** of relevant experience OR **Master's degree with 6-10 years** of related experience. (Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
+ Translation and/or interpretation degree is highly desired
+ **3+ years** of professional and recent translation, transcription, and/or interpretation experience
+ Must successfully complete a Leidos-administered language proficiency test or equivalent at the **Senior level or higher.**
+ **US immigration** experience is highly desired
+ HLT experience a plus
+ Must successfully complete a Leidos-administered language proficiency test or equivalent at the **Senior level or higher.**
+ Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** and basic online research.
+ Strong **written and verbal communication** skills in both English and target languages.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience supporting contingency operations as a deployed linguist.
+ Familiarity with the U.S. Intelligence Community, military operations, or law enforcement environments.

ResponsibilitiesData Specialist Responsibilities

Ferrellgas is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join our growing IT team! The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for using technical skills, business acumen, creativity, and communication skills to build and maintain reporting data models that are efficient, reliable, and easy to use. The BI Developer is knowledgeable of Power BI development best practices and has practical experience implementing them. The BI Developer is the go-to person for other analysts who need assistance creating or troubleshooting data models. This position will also assist with SSRS report creation and analytic tool administration.

- Assists analysts with SQL queries, data models, and writing complex DAX formulas.
- Partners with end-users to understand their needs and identifies appropriate BI solutions.

- Administrative duties on SSRS, Power BI Service, and other analytics tools including monitoring usage metrics, dataset refreshes, and access.
- Monitors help desk tickets and troubleshoots reporting issues.
- A Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years overall experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with analytics techniques to solve defined business problems.
- 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries. Able to write and analyze complex SQL statements involving subqueries, CTEs, and other advanced functions.
- 3+ years of experience building Power BI data models and reports; expert understanding of best practices for data models, M and DAX.
- 1+ years of experience with administrative duties on Power BI Server or other application is a plus
- Strong understanding of database principals and star schema.
- Ability to solve complex problems with little or ambiguous direction.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passionate about discovering new things and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments and diverse business scenarios.

Primary Responsibilities Customer Support Responsibilities: Performance Management: The Director of Business Intelligence will provide direct customer support as the Performance Manager for a cyber security program. This support includes, but is not limited to: Developing and executing performance metrics; tracking and reporting performance against metrics; and developing mitigation plans for addressing performance challenges. Business Intelligence Service Leadership: Service Development and Execution: Lead the BI service to ensure excellence in program and project execution, business development, and proposal management. Personnel Management and Career Development: Oversee recruitment, training, and career development for the BI service team, fostering a high-performing and motivated workforce. Strategic Growth: Identify and pursue new opportunities for expanding BI service offerings through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships. **Business and Proposal Development: Exploring and shaping potential business opportunities in the Business Intelligence portfolio.
