You will provide professional-level linguistic support across translation, interpretation, transcription , and Gisting including but not limited to:
Translation

ResponsibilitiesData Specialist Responsibilities
In this role, you will deploy to disaster sites to support FEMA or other government entities in the delivery of disaster recovery programs such as the Public Assistance (PA) program or the FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) Direct Housing program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Data mining, analysis, maintenance and manipulation
- Entering data into electronic databases and spreadsheets
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Transitioning data between multiple systems and applications
- Training personnel on the spreadsheets and/or databases
- Preparing reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and Power BI
- Developing and maintaining electronic dashboards to present data
- Other administrative and clerical activities related to the disaster mission

- Minimum (2) two years of full-time, demonstrated experience with work involving data analysis, mining, reporting, and predictive modeling

Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst responsible for managing datasets alongside our engineering/architecture teams, generating reports and models, creating visualizations, and delivering insights in presentation form. The desired candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and statistics, a firm understanding of computer programming, and excellent communication skills. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be expected to collaborate with our software developers, database architects, and data engineers on data initiatives and will deliver metrics using a combination of Microsoft Excel, SQL procedures/queries, and other internally developed tools. This position supports a nationwide customer in a mission critical operational environment where responsiveness, reliability and adaptiveness are requirements. The ideal candidate must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.
Essential Functions:
• Coordinate continuous improvement initiative ideas between personnel and management using established tools
• Produce daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance
• Regularly examines data reports to identify and resolve data integrity issues
• Participate in projects and other tasks assigned
• Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights
• Process and safeguard confidential data and information with the highest level of integrity
• Report development and maintenance as required to meet program needs
• Managing and designing the reporting environment including data sources, security, and metadata
• Support the program by revising reporting to meet new business requirements including initiatives for data integrity across all tools and reports
• Assess tests and implement new or upgraded software while assisting with strategic decisions on new systems
• Generate complex reports from single or multiple data sources ensuring comprehensive data analysis
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment ensuring tools and reports are working with the latest software revision requirements
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading data from a wide variety of data sources using Microsoft Excel, SQL procedures/queries, and other internally developed tools
• Create data tools for analytics and team members that assist them in building and optimizing product workflows
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
• 2+ years of prior experience and understanding of Metrics principles, processes, and producing reports
• Expert level experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products
• Self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products
• Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
• Experience generating SQL procedures/queries necessary to pull analysis data from various databases
• Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) tool to generate reports and metrics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
