Job Description:

Crowe is looking for a Data Solutions Architect to be a leader on our team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience. The primary focus will be helping our clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serve as subject matter expert on Business Intelligence engineering platforms (Ex - Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data platform, Snowflake, DBT) demonstrating platform capabilities and promoting application of toolset to address business needs and maximize the value realized from technology investment.
• Oversee the design and deployment of data pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting frameworks that improve transparency and support decision-making.
• Utilize advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques to detect anomalous activity and patterns in transaction data.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through best practices in data management and governance.
• Mentor and lead a team of data analysts and consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Provide technical guidance and career development opportunities to junior team members, ensuring high levels of performance and professional growth.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among teams to integrate data-driven insights into broader business strategies.
• Keep abreast of evolving regulations and industry standards related to BSA/AML and financial crime prevention.
• Develop and implement frameworks that align with regulatory changes and help clients stay ahead of compliance requirements.
• Work with legal and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable data analytics strategies.

The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to solve complex problems through data analytics.

• Apply BI&A development methodology to problem solving (Define, Develop, Validate, and Implement)

• Ask probing questions to translate business needs to build and design reporting solutions (metric management, dashboards, enterprise performance management).

• Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of data analytics concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects

• Experience with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, GCP and Python

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience, preferred

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Ensure the Data Analytics strategy aligns with the business strategy while shaping the existing ecosystem (data warehouse, MDM, operational data stores), reflecting and addressing constraints as necessary, ensuring minimization of technical debt.

• Update the Performance Objectives/Evaluation document.

• Expert with Data Architecture domains and software development in the Data Analytics space, including data warehouses / data marts using traditional architectures, analytic solutions using Big Data architectures and enterprise-level data architectures
• Expert experience in data management (data warehousing, data mastery, operational data stores, enterprise reporting, Big Data, MapReduce, data discovery, predictive and prescriptive analytics, architecture governance, reference data, metadata and data quality)
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman)
• Enterprise Architecture experience
• Mastery of Integration Architecture, especially Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL).
• Experienced with Infrastructure Architecture, especially Cloud, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Expert knowledge of modern data analytics technologies while staying current on architecture design and techniques.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills, excellent problem solving skills, and the self-motivation to improve skills and abilities.

• Receive in-depth training on data analysis tools and methodologies, including SQL, Python, R, and Tableau/Power BI.
• Assist in cleaning, transforming, and preparing large datasets for analysis.
• Support the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
• Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and challenges.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Learn best practices in data governance, quality, and ethics.
• Develop problem-solving skills through practical application in diverse business scenarios.
• Present project outcomes and insights to management.
• Gain exposure to various analytical techniques and industry applications.

• Recent graduate (within the last 1-2 years) with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of statistical concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language relevant to data analysis (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
