**_Responsibilities_**

+ Lead the transformation of the at-Home Solutions analytics team into a modern data & analytics organization aligned with Cardinal Health's Data City Plan.

+ Build and manage a scalable data foundation and analytics infrastructure in partnership with enterprise data teams.
+ Serve as a hands-on technical leader, guiding the team in data engineering, analytics development, and AI/ML solution delivery.
+ Play a pivotal role in transforming the team into a modern, AI-enabled analytics organization that drives innovation, operational efficiency, and measurable business value.

**_Qualifications_**
+ 8+ years of experience in data & analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferred
+ Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, preferred
+ Proven hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics development or AI/ML solution delivery.
+ Strong understanding of cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., SQL DB, GCP, BigQuery, Databricks, EDnA, Snowflake).
+ Demonstrated ability to lead teams through digital transformation and deliver measurable business outcomes.
+ Experience with value stream mapping preferred.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team-building skills.
+ Experience in logistics, supply chain, or healthcare analytics is a plus.
+ Experience with data governance, data quality, and enterprise data strategies.
+ Familiarity with agile methodologies and product-centric delivery models preferred.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Corporate Tax department consists of approximately 60 employees who play a significant role at HCA Healthcare. The Data Analytics Tax Intern will assist with data analysis related to the unique taxability of healthcare items. This role will extract, transform, and load data from one system to another or stage for output. Internship will also involve learning sales and use tax compliance and concepts.
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Develop queries using data visualization software to illustrate distribution of sales and use tax
+ Using database tools, perform queries of large amounts of data for staging and analysis
+ Using ETL tools, move data from one system to another system, and perform data analysis for reporting
+ Work with external and internal resources to configure software to efficiently provide reports used for tax analysis
+ Assign item taxability coding for AP system and sales and use tax system
+ Assist with special projects related to various indirect tax issues
+ Respond to information requests from internal and external customers.
+ Assist with data collection for sales and use tax audits and research projects
+ Work with internal automation personnel to maintain, enhance, and develop bots (RPA)
**What qualifications you will need:**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive meaningful, actionable insights for stakeholders and business development partners.

Minimum Requirements

The Data Analytics Discipline Leader also helps with managing intellectual property (IP) and research and development (R&D) investments by reviewing current environmental data analytics-related ideas, identifying IP to consider for protection, and prioritizing potential R&D investments. They work to grow a team of environmental data analytics practitioners who have the desire or aptitude to pursue environmental analysis for a variety of client projects at the firm.
