Description
The Data Operations & Automation Specialist is responsible for optimizing the use of internal and external data across the organization's core financial systems. This role manages data exchanges, ensures seamless integration with third-party platforms, and supports the development of business intelligence (BI) solutions. The Specialist leads automation initiatives, oversees accurate and timely reporting, and provides technical expertise to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Oversee and support the organization's core financial system, including monitoring performance, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for users, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and technical expertise.
+ Lead the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Digital Process Automation (DPA), including process discovery, scripting, testing, deployment, and support.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and processes, supporting data-driven decision-making.
+ Develop, automate, and maintain BI reporting solutions to provide actionable insights.
+ Identify opportunities for automation and streamline manual processes through scripting and system enhancements.
+ Manage data transfers and integrations between core systems, third-party applications, and internal platforms.
+ Support and maintain SQL databases for server-based applications.
+ Test and maintain disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
+ Assist in evaluating, testing, and deploying new hardware and software systems.
+ Partner with departments to design and deploy reports and dashboards that enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a data-intensive environment supporting financial applications and enterprise-level data transfers.
+ Strong knowledge of financial systems architecture, core applications, and integrated platforms.
+ Hands-on experience with BI tools, RPA, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
+ Ability to analyze and resolve system issues with strong problem-solving skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Systems Engineer with strong experience in enterprise IT automation with a preference for background in architectural and engineering (AEC) industry's technology ecosystem.
