The Cluster Networking team drives the evolution and optimization of Cluster Network Infrastructure to enable at-scale deployability of machines and ML capacity within Google's Data Centers.
In this role, you will participate in NPIs (New Product Introductions) to launch the Cluster Networking Infrastructure to scale Cluster Fabrics up. You will be responsible for planning and ensuring that the right amount of Networking Capacity is available to land Machine and Machine Learning (ML) capacity at the right time and across all of Cluster Fabrics across all of Google's Data Centers.

**Responsibilities**
+ Facilitate the timely delivery of cluster networking capacity across all Google data centers.
+ Drive change event impact analysis and adjust plans of record across systems of record.
+ Define policies and tooling requirements to manage cluster networking products, emphasizing planning, provisioning, reliability, and interoperability needs across the existing fleet.
+ Participate in the development of new products from early concepts all the way through to full production and help manage the transition of the new products into the fleet.
+ Offer technical guidance across the broader organization, particularly regarding how new products and processes will impact or be impacted by the networking fleet.

As a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) with a core focus on the Cisco Nexus 9000 platform, you'll serve as the bridge between engineering, product management, and the field. **Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Minimum 3 years of experience working with Cisco Data Center Networking solutions, including direct configuration and deployment of Nexus 9000 series (NX-OS and ACI) and Nexus Dashboard.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in understanding AI/ML workloads and their impact on data center network architecture (e.g., front-end vs. back-end network design, GPU cluster requirements).
+ Demonstrated understanding of data center security principles, including implementing segmentation, zero trust models, and policy enforcement in enterprise environments.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or technical marketing, with a proven track record of supporting customer engagements.
+ Delivery of technical presentations and led cross-functional meetings, effectively communicating complex concepts to diverse technical and business audiences.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
