**What's the Role?**
A Senior Data Management Professional (DMP) is a key role within our organization responsible for providing domain expertise in both financial concepts and annotation program management, to the development of our AI products. These individuals act as proactive technical leaders by setting the framework in achieving quality and consistency in the evaluation and training datasets for models that power our AI-enhanced products, and delivering scalable governance in annotation program management across Bloomberg Data. Beyond governing data processes and being problem solvers, they are expected to transform the responsibilities of the team and scale the impact beyond what's possible today.
The role in the Data AI Annotation team covers all annotation program components in developing the evaluation and training of AI models at Bloomberg. Being responsible for the quality of the annotated data, and product quality will be a crucial part of the role, with key work spanning ownership around consensus management, adjudication, and instruction and task design. The team is a critical partner in ensuring the stability and growth of the company which relies on bringing new technology to customers with increased interests in Artificial Intelligence.

+ Create strategies to analyze processes and data quality questions to ensure our datasets are fit-for-purpose.
+ Safeguard the creation of high-quality training data for generative AI models in collaboration with the annotation project manager.
+ Leverage data annotation tools and platforms, including labeling software and data management systems to ensure quality.
+ Apply domain expertise to inform annotation decisions and ensure high-quality outputs.
+ Review and further enhance annotation guidelines, and promote the development of standard processes in data annotation.
+ Rely upon data analysis skills to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and make informed decisions on annotation approaches.
+ Lead on problem-solving to resolve complex annotation challenges and ensure data quality.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and standard methodologies in data annotation and finance/news.
+ Be ready to take a hands-on role in project and product coordination when needed- with input from Technical specialist, Annotation manager and Senior annotators.
**You'll need to have:**
+ A bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Data Analytics and Data Science or other STEM related fields.
+ A minimum of four years of demonstrated experience in data management concepts such as data quality, random sampling and data modeling.
+ Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik Sense.
+ Past project/experience analyzing financial datasets or proven past experience working on financial market concepts.
+ Demonstrable experience in Data Profiling/Analysis using tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
+ Extensive experience in communicating results in a clear, concise manner using data visualization tools.
+ Demonstrated ability taking a logical approach and applying critical thinking skills in order to solve problems.
**We'd Love to See:**
+ Keen interest and familiarity with generative AI frameworks.
+ Formal knowledge of data governance and data management, supported by industry certifications (e.g. DAMA CDMP, DCAM, etc.)
+ Keen interest and familiarity with generative AI frameworks.
+ Interest in solving problems and developing data-driven methodologies for high precision & high recall anomaly detection.
+ Past project experience using the Agile/Scrum project management methodology.

The Role:
The Ownership Data team is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Ownership Quality Engineer to lead our data quality strategy and execute high-impact quality assurance initiatives across float and ownership data. The Data Quality Manager will lead and participate in data governance efforts across the Business Unit areas to ensure that enterprise data used for reporting, modeling, key business decisions and executing RJF business processes is 'fit for purpose'. Pay Rate/Benefits: The pay range for this role is generally$41,600-46,600 annually, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI)drives dramatic improvements in the health of New Yorkers by feeding people who are hungry, healing families broken apart by violence, and bridging the gaps between people and the compassionate health care they deserve. CHASI provides outreach, education, prevention, and direct support services for populations most affected by health disparities – people with low or no income, low-income people with chronic illnesses, people with criminal justice involvement, people who use drugs, domestic violence survivors, people of color, and the LGBTQ community.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data and Quality Specialist plays a key role in ensuring smooth operation, data, and quality functions across CHASI’s Behavioral Health Department, specifically supporting the Next Step Resource & Recovery Center. This individual will coordinate internal data tracking and quality assurance efforts and assist in the organization and execution of events that align with the department’s mission to provide compassionate recovery-oriented services to Staten Island communities. The Specialist will also provide support for basic administrative functions of the programs, including, but not limited to, maintenance of program and office supplies and managing departmental purchasing.

The Data and Quality Specialist serves as a cross-functional liaison who strengthens communication and accountability between peer support services, administrative compliance, and contractual reporting.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data & Quality Oversight

  • Oversee data collection and quality assurance for all programs in the Recovery Center.

  • Monitor staff compliance with data entry and reporting timelines across multiple platforms.

  • Reconcile client and program data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.

  • Develop and improve workflows and documentation systems to enhance member tracking, service delivery accuracy, and reporting efficiency.

Administrative & Purchasing Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Behavioral Health department’s primary purchaser: track inventory, maintain budget alignment, and submit timely purchasing requests.

  • Monitor and manage inventory for outreach, harm reduction supplies, and event materials, and coordinate storage and distribution.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of supplies distributed to clients and reconcile supply usage regularly.

Program & Event Coordination

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events across the division.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in public health, Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, data management, or peer service settings.

  • Strong understanding of substance use recovery, harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and peer support models.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities across departments.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse staff, clients, and community stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with databases or reporting platforms preferred.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events or coverage.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

  • Lived experience with recovery or harm reduction is a plus and will be considered an asset.
