**What role you will play in our team**
Seeking skilled and detail-oriented Data Integration and Systems Specialist to join ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences, Inc (EMBSI). This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions that ensure seamless data flow between ExxonMobil (EM) Health & Environmental systems, applications, and databases. The candidate will need to lead or work with EM Information Technology (EMIT) to document EMBSI business processes and translate/transform these into solutions (e.g. optimized work processes /systems, automation, broader integration across EM). + **Performance Optimization:** Utilize AI/ML techniques to develop agents that analyze database workloads, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend or automatically apply optimal configurations, query rewrites, or indexing strategies.
+ **Security & Compliance Agents:** Build agents to enforce database security policies, monitor for unauthorized access attempts, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
+ **Natural Language Database Operations:** Implement natural language interfaces (using NLU/NLG) within agents to allow DBAs and developers to interact with and query database status, historical performance, and receive recommendations using plain language.
+ **Data Lifecycle Management Automation:** Develop agents to automate data archival, purging, backup, and recovery processes based on policies and learned patterns.
+ **Integration & Orchestration:** Integrate AI agents seamlessly into existing database ecosystems, monitoring tools, ITSM platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
+ **Research & Innovation:** Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and database technologies, evaluating and proposing new solutions to enhance database manageability and efficiency.
+ **Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:** Create comprehensive documentation for AI agent functionalities, architecture, and operational procedures. Provide training and knowledge sharing to the database administration and operations teams.
+ Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes for advanced AI-driven database functionalities.
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on AI and database best practices.
**Qualifications** **: Required**
+ **10+ years of experience with significant exposure to both database administration/engineering and AI/ML development.**
+ **Deep Database Expertise:** Extensive hands-on experience with administration, tuning, and troubleshooting of at least two major database systems (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, Hadoop, Caching technologies).
+ **Strong AI/ML Foundations:** Proven experience in designing, training, and deploying machine learning models, particularly for anomaly detection, prediction, and optimization.
+ **AI Agent Development:** Practical experience in building and deploying intelligent agents, automation bots, or similar AI-driven autonomous systems.
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as **Python** (essential for AI/ML and automation), Java, or Go.
+ Solid understanding of database concepts including schema design, query optimization, indexing, replication, clustering, and backup/recovery strategies.
+ Experience with machine learning frameworks and relevant libraries.
+ Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) for enabling natural language interaction with systems.
+ Familiarity with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka) and Middelware technologies( Web hosting, messaging )
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex database and system issues.
+ Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Database Administration, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.

The Ohio Department of Medicaid is seeking a software development professional to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Team. As a Senior Data Integration Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing ELT/ETL Data Pipeline using Snowflake, Snowpark scripts, SnowSQL queries, and stored procedures for curated data delivery.
• Performing data analysis, profiling, quality checks, and ingestion across multiple layers using Snowflake, Snowpark scripts, SnowSQL queries, stored procedures, and UNIX shell scripts.
• Creating mock data, conducting unit testing, and validating results in lower environments.
• Updating production support documentation, including Run Books and Control-M (or Airflow) schedules.
