The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE ) includes all of the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test with all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management.
What You Will Do
We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.
As part of the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA ) team, you be working with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon. You will provide Test Equipment (TE ) integration, security consultation, troubleshooting, sustainment, and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability for our test systems.
Administer/Support Code Management Tools including but not limited to, Azure DevOps, Git, GitLab, BitBucket
Support Automation Platforms including but not limited to Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet
Administer Windows/Linux Servers
Develop Cybersecurity compliant Test Environments/Test Equipment (Linux, Windows)
Install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing of production hardware
Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity
Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate localized Development Environments to Enterprise Environments
Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure Test Environment compliance (using tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, System Hardening
Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect the availability or test integrity on the TE
Support any and all reviews required prior for implementation of any changes to the TE

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum five (5) years of prior relevant experience with systems administration of Windows or Linux Server Operating Systems within Enterprise Environments
Experience administering any of the following Code Management Tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, GitLab, and/or BitBucket

**In this Cyber Security, Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) opportunity you will make impacts in the following ways;**
+ Support adherence to all aspects of a rigorous Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance program as stipulated by NISPOM/DAAPM, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs and associated NIST publications.
+ Obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals for various systems by adhering to the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
+ Support cybersecurity efforts throughout the RMF process for one or more assigned programs(s) to include the development and management of System Security documentation, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), assessing and auditing systems security controls, and continuous monitoring of controls.
+ Provide oversight for all classified systems compliance and ensure the execution of our strong self-inspection program.
+ Ensure all security certification and accreditation documents in relation to all classified systems are up-to-date.
+ Ensure continuous monitoring (e.g. weekly, monthly, etc.) in accordance with cognizant security authority requirements are being implemented and met.
+ Coordinate security-related activities with information security architects, senior information security officers, information system owners, common control providers, and information system security officers

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Must be able to obtain IAM Level II certification commensurate with DoD 8570.1M requirements within 6 months from date of hire
+ An active Secret Clearance required
+ 7 or more years of ISSM or relevant cybersecurity experience
+ Education: minimum of high school diploma
+ High level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and acquire new skills, and adapt seamlessly to an ever-changing security environment

We are building advanced agentic systems capable of autonomously managing and decomposing complex goals. We are seeking an expert in agent design, planning, and control to develop and evaluate agents that can set, adapt, and execute goals in dynamic, real-world environments. You’ll contribute to the scientific and engineering foundations that make AI agents reliable, interpretable, and robust across long-horizon tasks.
Key R esponsibilities

Architect goal setting and goal decomposition mechanisms for autonomous agents operating in uncertain or open-ended environments

Design and implement dynamic planning systems (e.g., hierarchical planning, curriculum learning, scratchpad/self-refinement loops)

Collaborate on memory, tool-use, and feedback-loop designs enabling multi-step, self-directed agent behavior
-
Develop evaluation frameworks for alignment with human intent, consistency, progress against long-horizon objectives
-
Prototype agents that interface with APIs, MCP servers, search engines, databases, or real-world actuators to pursue goals safely and efficiency

Explore mechanisms to detect and mitigate goal misalignment, looping behavior, or undesirable emergent strategies

Work across teams to integrate goal alignment with safety, alignment, and operational reliability mechanisms
Technical skills

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data analysis/data mining tools.

Experience with machine learning frameworks like Pytorch, Jax, LangChain, LangGraph or AutoGen

Experience with high performance, large-scale ML systems

Experience with language modeling with transformers

Experience with symbolic planning, causal reasoning, and model-based RL

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree and 4+ years of experience in research/ML engineering or an applied research scientist position preferably with a focus on developing production-ready AI solutions

2+ years of experience leading development of AI/ML systems
Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field

Demonstrated experience shipping autonomous, or semi-autonomous agents in production or simulation

Experience with LLM-based agents with scratchpad/self-reflection or hierarchical task decomposition

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. $142,300 - $195,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
