**Summary** :
The incumbent will play a key role enabling business partners to transform data into information and apply actionable insights for understanding and improving business performance. Defining and delivering on data and information needs. Supporting business unit navigation of enterprise data environment. Business areas supported by this role are those who support the back office analytics for the Enterprise. The ideal candidate for this position would have a drive to solve complex problems and enhance the quality and ease of use of data across the enterprise.
**Responsibilities** :
- Partner with stakeholders, business SMEs, vendors, and technology teams to design, validate, and deliver conformed data and reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain necessary support and control documentation.
- Execute routine data processes for business and reporting analytic functions in the organization.
- Monitor data controls and validations for completeness and accuracy of business data solutions.
- Capture and document business requirements from end to end business functions and design relevant data solutions.
- Support initiatives to modernize the data environment at FHN including the Enterprise Data Hub buildout.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Passion for improving business performance through actions inspired by insights

- Interest in learning and applying understanding of bank products and processes
- Collaboration with team members to execute & improve processes
- Experience with source to target data transformation
- Experience writing SQL, SAS, or Alteryx queries to access, process, aggregate and transform structured and unstructured data
- Experience with data validation and design of data controls
- Experience accessing data from SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access, IBM DB2,and Databricks environments
- Experience with banking organizations, business concepts, processes, information and data
- Comfortable working with large and complex portfolios and data structures
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Ability to manage multiple projects to achieve organized, on-time results
- Good written and oral communication skills

**Summary** :
The Manager - Data Issue Management leads and oversees a high-performing team of Business Analysts dedicated to ensuring data integrity and quality across First Horizon Bank's systems and processes. This role is responsible for establishing best practices in data issue identification, analysis, and resolution, while driving continuous operational and strategic improvements to support exceptional client experiences. The Manager collaborates closely with associates across technology, operations, compliance, and business functions to advance data governance and deliver actionable insights.
**Key Responsibilities** :
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts focused on data issue identification, analysis, management, and remediation.
- Set strategic objectives and operational standards for data issue management, ensuring effective monitoring, tracking, and escalation processes.
- Oversee the investigation of complex data integrity issues using advanced technical query capabilities (e.g., SQL, data analysis tools) and ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with business stakeholders and technology leaders to drive systemic improvements to data quality controls, processes, and policies.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms for data issues, including regular executive dashboards, trending analysis, and progress updates for senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation of issue resolution procedures, analysis outcomes, and knowledge sharing within the team and with other associates.
- Champion data governance initiatives, fostering compliance with regulatory requirements and aligning with bank standards.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and technology enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce recurrence of data-related issues.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to associates on complex technical data queries, data issue escalation, and resolution protocols.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and professional development efforts within the team to build bench strength and advance technical skills.
- Represent the Data Issue Management function in cross-functional working groups, project teams, and regulatory reviews as needed.
**Required Qualifications** :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years' experience in data management, including extensive knowledge of data mapping, data integration, and database concepts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, data quality management, or a related technical field, including 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Proficiency with SQL and other data querying tools, as well as data visualization and reporting platforms (such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex, cross-departmental projects.
- Deep analytical and problem-solving skills, including diagnosing root causes of systemic data issues.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to associates and senior leadership.
**Preferred Skills** :
- Experience within the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with process automation and workflow improvement initiatives.
- Project management training or certification.
- Experience contributing to or leading data governance councils or working groups.

**Job Description**
The Sr. Manager, Data & AI, Energy is responsible for managing and leading high performing teams responsible for extracting vast data sets and transforming those insights into new revenue generating products and strategic solutions.
**Essential Functions**
1. Support the development of strategic business roadmaps by collaborating with business leaders to identify and prioritize use cases, coordinate execution across teams, track progress, and report updates to leadership.
2. Provide guidance to a team of business strategists and analysts focused on delivering end-to-end data analytics to support enterprise growth and decision-making.
3. Promote the adoption of data enablement solutions by leveraging analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to meet business needs.
4. Contribute to the development and enhancement of data-driven products and services aligned with stakeholder requirements.
5. Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of digital tools and solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
6. Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and addressing complex business challenges using data and advanced analytics.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, economics, computer science, science or engineering fields required, Master's or equivalent preferred
+ 5+ years of experience with program/project management is preferred.
