  • Serve as the business-facing Product Owner for the data platform, translating retail business needs into clear data requirements.
  • Oversee data onboarding and integration across 20+ on-prem and cloud SaaS sources, ensuring data quality and alignment with business processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams (BigQuery, Kafka, PL/SQL, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) to support data warehousing and ongoing platform enhancements.


Who you are:

  • 6+ years of Product Owner or related experience, with strong ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

We are seeking a VP of Data Product to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise data products with a strong emphasis on finance and regulatory data domains. This role will ensure business requirements are thoroughly captured, source-to-target mappings are documented, and that product thinking is applied with discretion. - Intermediate SQL skills -- should be able to write code some scratch and modify existing queries. Will be working with an offshore development team to refine scope and requirements of enhancements -- any experience or exposure to Azure Synapse is a huge plus.

**Position Purpose:**
The Data Product Manager (PM) role is responsible for delivering business value by driving sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction through the production of high-quality data-driven products. Within the enterprise data product line, the PM will focus on delivering incremental value by driving product changes and working closely with developers, designers, analysts, and business partners.
This role requires a strong understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle, particularly when data itself is the product. The PM will be responsible for conducting in-depth business reviews, defining objectives and key results (OKRs) for initiatives, and effectively communicating progress across all levels of the organization. Success in this role requires the ability to combine product management expertise with a strong analytics background to ensure data solutions are impactful, accurate, and valuable to the business.

+ Gains a thorough understanding of customer and associate needs, both existing and potential, and uses that knowledge to help deliver enterprise products that provide Home Depot customers and associates with an unparalleled shopping experience
