- Conduct a search of the areas to ensure that no records areleft unpacked.

ResponsibilitiesData Specialist Responsibilities
In this role, you will deploy to disaster sites to support FEMA or other government entities in the delivery of disaster recovery programs such as the Public Assistance (PA) program or the FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) Direct Housing program. Working Conditions

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is a MANDATORY requirement to apply for this position. Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Experience with writing and/or updating policies/procedures.
- Working knowledge and understanding of State and Federal regulation including: NIST 800-53 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), State Information Management Manual (SIMM), and/or State Administrative Manual (SAM).
- Experience with data classification and data loss prevention tools and best practices.
- Experience with email hygiene solutions.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies.
- Experience and knowledge in the practices, principles, and techniques of information security.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of management and staff.
- Experience with developing or providing training.
- Background in either performing audits or responding to audit requests.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Data Loss Prevention Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Recommend & assist in the implementation of data hardening technologies
- responsible for managing, monitoring and implementing data security software across the enterprise. The position will be the primary contact for ensuring data integrity and security.
- Working in collaboration with other departments to form a data classification system.
- Managing numerous DLP platforms including, Microsoft Azure DLP, Varonis, Etc. .
- Manage user data access permissions and data access requests
- Manage numerous platforms surrounding data security and integrity
- Develop, design and improve IT data security policies, procedures & processes across the enterpriseCollaborate with other departments to identify sensitive data, and apply proper security

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Data Loss Prevention Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Data Loss Prevention Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- 4+ years of prior relevant experience
- BS Degree within a Cyber Security related degree
- Extensive understanding of data classification and management
- Experience with Azure DLP (E5) platforms
- Preferable: Experience with Varonis
- Fundamental knowledge of SIEM platforms
- Forensic Cyber Security knowledge is preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems (Windows 11, Server 2019 / 2022)
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and abilities - particularly in the fashion of working with other department members on solutions.
- Skills at organizing resources and establishing priorities
