The Role

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Math, or Engineering.
- Strong expertise in relational databases and advanced SQL query development is essential.
- Proven experience with Large Language Models, including models like Claude Anthropic, OpenAI's ChatGPT, Meta's Llama 2, Amazon Titan, Cohere Command & Embed, or rAI21 Labs Jurassic.
- Experience in data quality assurance, manipulation, and statistical modeling using various machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with all of the following technologies:
- Python
- AWS Sagemaker
- AWS Bedrock
- Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning
- Capability to produce visually compelling data visualizations.
- Ability to concisely communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with business intelligence platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable communicating analytic findings to executive leadership.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable team player.
- Willingness to engage in direct client interactions, including traveling to client locations.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

**DUTIES:**
Develop data standards, tools, and automated workflows to ensure high quality datasets, enable rapid data visualization, and optimize novel pharmacometric analysis and reporting workflows. Collaborate with Quantitative Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics (QP2) scientists and key partners, such as bioanalytical sciences, statistics, statistical programming, and clinical data management, across therapeutic areas to drive delivery of high-quality datasets. Monitor the flow of data between complex clinical data systems and the processes surrounding that data, drive creation of new data standards to enable analysis and workflow automation and implement new data initiatives (e.g. digital data). Obtain feedback from QP2 scientists and utilize this information to guide the development of new customizable pharmacometric tools, user-defined data visualization dashboards, and flexible analysis workflows. Build tools (e.g. RShiny apps) to streamline creation of key visualizations and statistical analyses used for diagnostics and reporting to shorten the turnaround time of deliverables. Support Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives within the department and further provide input into optimization of processes for data flow, analysis and storage across the company's systems. 10% domestic travel required.
