Summary

Data Management (Lock Desk) will be responsible for all duties related to processing rate locks, lock changes and extension requests while providing customer service to internal staff and brokers. Members of lock desk are responsible for providing broad-based administrative and report support to essential departments and executing and monitoring all locks and loan pricing activities in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the secondary pipeline and daily volume, responding to pricing, lock, relock, lock extension and lock change requests.
  • Daily preparation and publication of pricing rate sheets to all loan programs/channels.
  • Create and distribute bid tapes and analyze the investor prices.
  • Review and approve pricing exception requests while maintaining company profitability
  • Comply with and maintain investor registration/maintenance/delivery policies
  • Create and maintain lock desk policies and procedures, staying up to date with changing policies and laws from both internal and external sources.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of financial modeling techniques and related pricing strategies.
  • Effectively work across all essential departments, IT, Sales, Accounting, and Finance to improve existing lock desk processes, systems, and tools.

Job Requirements

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and be a self-starter.

+ Demonstrated collaboration and superb communication skills, both written and oral (proficiency in English required).

+ Validated project management skills, capable of managing multiple requests and priorities, with proven leadership in decision-making, negotiation, motivation, and influencing.
+ Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, an entrepreneurial mindset, self-direction, and the ability to mentor others while learning new techniques.

+ Review and analyze metrics to derive meaningful summaries of study health and trends.
+ Review Master Services Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and contracts to manage toward sponsor-specific metric targets/Key Performance Indicators.
+ Attend cross-functional meetings, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and comply with action and decision logs.
**Project Financial and Resource Management:**
+ Ensure appropriate project-level resourcing of staff and staff assignments.
+ Regularly review and update Data Management resources to ensure alignment with contracted budgets, project resource forecasts, actuals, and demand.
+ Determine and resolve the root cause of Data Management-related project variances in a timely manner, including negotiating/raising changes in scope.
