Works with business partners to transition processes and/or reports to provide technical solutions related to their data needs. Works with end-users to solve problems or answer questions that arise. Designs, develops, and documents processes to support the Data Warehouse as needed.
This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE and is a hybrid work schedule with a 50% in-office requirement. Sponsorship for employment visa status is not available for this position.
What will you do?
Supervises members of the Data Warehouse by providing regular guidance and instruction on technical and non-technical topics. Collaborates with other managers within the department to understand employees' performance and areas where growth may be needed.
Responsible for communication with outside vendors, state regulatory representatives, internal product owners, subject matter experts, underwriters, other managers, and programmers to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems.
Manages and determines activities of personnel by determining work procedures, issuing written and oral instructions, analyzing and resolving work problems, and assisting employees in solving work problems.
Oversees all aspects of data feeds and reports. Performs analysis on reporting process and identifies opportunities to create enhancements and improvements to the data and process.

This role is eligible to participate in Zenith's hybrid work schedule which provides the flexibility to work from home on select days of the week according to the in-office schedule established by regional executive leadership. Selected candidate must be able to report into the Woodland Hills CA, Roseville CA or Sarasota FL office on a weekly basis.
What you will do
- Collaborate with end users to understand reporting requirements and uses Power BI Business Objects or similar report writer software to create a variety of simple to moderately complex reports.
- Use Structured Query Language (SQL) and similar tools and techniques to extract and manipulate the data.
- Remain very adept systems trouble shooting, and analytical skills.
- Applies principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Work productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis.
- Respond positively to direction and feedback on performance.
- Consistently maintain professional and appropriate demeanor.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of training/experience required
- Bachelor's Degree In related field or discipline or equivalent combination of training/experience. required
- 3+ years related experience required
- Intermediate SQL and MS Excel
- Developed products in Power BI, Business Objects, or other advanced reporting tool
- Experience in Power BI with cloud integration to Azure Data Management and Analytics services is a plus
- Understanding of MS SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Work experience demonstrating ability to clearly communicate with peers and customers and translates business needs
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
The expected salary range for this position is $77,942.10-113,016.05 . Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
