- I. WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing Data Integration processes within the Strategic Data Platform and other data solutions implementations.

- II. SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 3+ years in IT application development, with at least 2 years in Data Integration (ETL) Development, using tools such as DataStage, Python, SQL and Unix Shell Scripting.
- Experienced practitioner with a proven track record of implementing mid-scale to large-scale Data Integration (ETL) solutions, performing data analysis and profiling, interacting with client management, and designing and architecting dynamic ETL solutions.
- Working knowledge for Data Types and Databases including Relational, Dimensional, Vertical and No SQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with data cleansing and data visualization and familiarity with Hadoop Ecosystem.
- Experience with platforms such as Hive and Trino/Starburst.
- Strong conceptual knowledge of file formats such as JSON, Parquet and Protobuf.

The Data Integration Engineer designs, builds, and operates batch and streaming pipelines that move data from MS SQL Server, MongoDB, legacy files, and third-party APIs into our Data Vault warehouse and machine-learning (ML) cluster, ensuring that data is accurate, timely, and analytics-ready. The role blends hands-on ETL/ELT development in SSIS, Spark, Runbooks, and Azure Data Factory with data-modeling expertise (hubs, links, satellites) to support scalable reporting, predictive models, and AI agents. Working closely with development team and cross-functional product teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy incremental and full load pipelines using SSIS, Spark, Runbooks and Azure Data Factory to ingest data into landing, raw, and curated layers of the Data Vault.
- Build CDC (change data capture) solutions to minimize latency for downstream reporting and ML features.
- Automate schema evolution and metadata population for hubs, links, and satellites.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Stakeholder Relationship Management:** Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, actively facilitating and executing day-to-day activities and meetings to ensure alignment and progress.

+ **Issue Resolution & Policy Adherence:** Support the timely resolution of project issues by devising and offering innovative solutions to complex problems. You will also provide expert interpretation and advice on policies, guidelines, and processes to ensure compliance and effective execution.
+ **Cross-Functional Liaison & Subject Matter Expertise:** Act as a central liaison with multiple Data teams and departments, serving as a primary subject matter expert for the planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes.
+ **Independent Data Analysis & Reconciliation:** Independently conduct thorough data analysis and reconciliations. You will execute tasks that directly contribute to various data initiatives, including but not limited to data requirements gathering, issues management, development of Data Quality rules, data lineage tracking, Data Governance frameworks, and taxonomy definition.
+ **Business Requirements & Process Mapping:** Develop clear and concise business requirements, meticulously mapping current and future state processes to drive operational efficiency and strategic alignment.
+ **Strategic Design & Process Improvement Contribution:** Contribute tactically to the strategic design and implementation of process improvement projects across various lines of business and functions, working in close partnership with Technology, Operations, and other support organizations.
+ **Risk Assessment & Compliance:** Appropriately assess risk in all business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding our clients and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering strictly to company policy, applying sound ethical judgment in personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and proactively escalating, managing, and transparently reporting any control issues.
**Qualifications**
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Financial/Regulatory Reporting (e.g., 15c3-3), and/or Business Transformation.
+ **Project Management:** Demonstrated experience in managing and successfully implementing projects from inception to completion.
+ **Domain Knowledge (Preferred):** Knowledge of Finance products such as Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs), FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, and Loans is a significant advantage. Experience in financial control, accounting, and/or risk management is also a plus.
+ **Adaptability:** Proven ability to be nimble, adjust priorities effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
+ **Integration & Strategic Thinking:** Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how individual contributions and departmental functions collectively integrate to achieve overarching business objectives.
+ **Data Acumen:** Familiarity with core data concepts, data controls, Data Quality measurement methodologies, and data lineage principles.
+ **Communication & Influence:** Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that resonate with diverse audiences. Proven capability to drive consensus and influence relationships across all organizational levels.
