**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ BA/BS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education or AA/AS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education or HS/GED + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Professional experience developing and utilizing relational databases including SQL Server and MySQL is a must.
+ Database experience to include writing SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
+ Professional experience and coding knowledge using Python.
+ Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship or Green Card is required.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Professional experience developing data models using standard diagramming techniques.
+ Professional experience with open-source analysis tools, big data and business intelligence technologies such as Power BI.
+ Professional experience and knowledge of open-source spatial data tools including PostgreSQL.

We are looking for a Database Developer for a Full Time, Direct Hire position located in Philadelphia, Pa - this is a hybrid role with 1-2 days/week in the office.
**Summary:**
A highly technical and motivated professional with expertise in designing and developing databases and creating complex reporting and analytical solutions for financial applications. We are looking for a Database Developer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are looking for a talented and experienced Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design, development, and management. As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust and scalable database systems to support our applications and business needs. This position is onsite 1 day/week in Ashburn, VA and requires an Active DHS Clearance or an Active Top Secret Clearance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Design, develop, and implement database solutions to support various applications and business processes.
+ Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions to ensure high performance and reliability.
+ Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
+ Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
+ Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
+ Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, identifying and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.

**Education and Experience**
