THE ROLE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the RDBMS Performance Optimization for EPYC products
- Work across engineering teams and subject areas spanning silicon, firmware, hardware, and software
- Coordinate debug of issues and drive them to closure
- Pull together meetings, set up clear agendas and follow up on action items
- Deliver regular progress updates toward program goals
- Make tough decisions such as priority calls based on partial or incomplete data

We are seeking a highly technical Senior Database Performance Test Engineer to join our team in Waltham, MA. The role requires a self-motivated performance test engineer with expertise in SQL database internals to help us assess, understand, and improve the performance of NuoDB. You will be the gatekeeper for performance at NuoDB. Your tools and tests will monitor and analyse all aspects of the performance of the NuoDB system in terms of query latency and throughput, disk utilisation, CPU usage, storage, network, and VM latency, etc. Your assessment of performance will determine the future direction of the product, and you will have the final say over whether new performance-related features are ready for production deployment.
Working in close collaboration with product teams, this role involves ensuring all new features are delivered with the expected performance level, running experiments and advocating for performance enhancements, sharing and reporting results to ensure performance is at the heart of every development project, and integrating and writing new benchmarks and workloads.

Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Management Specialist to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and quality of health data across Personify Health's platforms. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, product, clinical, and operations teams to manage data pipelines, maintain data governance standards, and support analytics initiatives that drive personalized health solutions for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Own the lifecycle of health-related data assets, from ingestion and integration to validation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with data engineering to design and optimize data pipelines for accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
- Monitor and maintain data quality, working with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve discrepancies and anomalies.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies, including data classification, lineage, and metadata documentation.
- Support regulatory and compliance efforts (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2) through robust data tracking and auditing mechanisms.
- Partner with analytics and product teams to ensure data is structured and accessible for analysis, reporting, and ML use cases.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, schemas, and technical documentation.
- Facilitate onboarding of new data sources (e.g., employer feeds, claims, EHR, engagement metrics).
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Public Health, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data management or data operations, preferably in a healthcare or digital health setting.
- Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and health data privacy regulations (HIPAA, PHI/PII handling).
- Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Informatica).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with healthcare data types (claims, clinical, engagement, biometric, benefits, etc.).
- Experience working with modern data stacks (Snowflake, Looker, Databricks, etc.).
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
- Strong documentation skills and experience with tools like Confluence, Jira, or Notion.

The National Security Sector at Leidos is on the lookout for a Database Management Specialist to support the development of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 system operational manuals and training products within databases associated with US Navy ships, under the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 5B).
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing Oracle databases with a high level of proficiency.
- Creating and developing ad hoc reports from database tables.
- Utilizing your expertise in Linux and script writing.
- Implementing DISA STIG guidance while understanding its implications for database systems.
- Collaborating effectively with developers, end users, and US Navy customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree coupled with 2+ years of relevant experience (equivalent experience or training may substitute for a degree).
- Exceptional written communication and grammatical skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Experience working directly with operational Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- A proven track record of effective collaboration across various teams.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Clearance Needed: Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Skills in system LAN operation and administration.
- Knowledge of NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle support.
- Willingness to travel as required for the job.
- Experience with S1000D or similar collaborative product data systems.
- Familiarity with Windchill, Arbortext, or Notepad+.
- Experience using Moodle, Blackboard, or similar dashboard products.
