We’ve partnered with a growing boutique litigation firm known for its trial success, mentorship culture, and dedication to work-life balance. The firm is expanding its team and seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to manage a caseload focused on personal injury and liability matters. The environment is supportive, and the firm offers strong infrastructure for both in-office and remote attorneys.

What You’ll Do:

• p>Handle a personal caseload of litigation matters involving insurance defense (e.g., premises liability, construction accidents, property damage, transportation accidents)

• Conduct depositions, draft pleadings/motions, and appear in court as needed

• Work independently while collaborating with senior attorneys for strategy and development

• Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel effectively

• Participate in trial prep and appellate advocacy as needed

What You’ll Need:

Active New York State Bar license

• 1+ year of experience in personal injury or insurance defense litigation

• Strong communication, time management, and litigation skills

• Ability to handle your own caseload with support and autonomy

• Must be based in NY or within reasonable proximity for court appearances (some travel required)

Perform sheet metal and composite assembly for the production of stealth aircraft, fighter jets, and/or military helicopters. Complete riveting, drilling, and countersinking to install components and fasteners for the fuselage. Complete sealing of aircraft structures and components. Self-inspect components and assemblies, including frames and skins, performing rework when necessary. Other duties may be assigned.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. • Executes/coordinates tasks on shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements to include processing, pre-alerts, delivery of freight, governmental filings, etc.
• Collaborates, develops and builds relationships with international transportation carriers and agent representatives regarding air, ocean, import and export products.
• Timely preparation of rates and quotes for customers and overseas agents.
• Coordinates the routing of import and export bookings with airline and ocean carriers.
• Prepares all necessary shipping documentation related to international bookings and processes all import and export documentation to clearing agents to include HAWBs, MAWBs, AESs, manifests, shipping instructions, hazardous cargo declarations, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.
• Dispatches pick-ups to authorized agents and drayage companies, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, clearing agents, warehouse and all other parties involved in the shipment.
• Acts as a liaison with Customs Brokers and agents as well as ocean and air terminal operators.
• Completes invoicing and billing processes.
• Complies with all applicable regulations.
• Communicates clearly, timely and effectively with customers, agents, outside vendors and internal personnel.
• Understanding of the processes, documentation and terminology involved in international shipping and defense logistics.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with government or defense logistics clients.
• ITAR compliance and shipping experience required.

• Strong command of the English language, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively.

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proficiency with Cargowise preferred.

• Eight (8) or more hours sitting and working on a computer; up to two (2) hours per day standing and / or walking.
• Ability to squat, bend and reach for filing purposes.
• Some light warehouse work as necessary to strap, label, examine and accept freight.
